Don't get me wrong. Characters like Bella, Vanessa and Kate are great for the story in my opinion, they make it messy and risky. Bella's just got too much screen time; once we've got all of them on equal footing I'll probably learn things about Nami that make me dislike her. The focus has been pretty one sided in the story, and Bella's a polarising character. Pretending she's an angel is the same as pretending Leia isn't pimping out her employees in Wiab (and who knows, maybe still in SG with the gentleman's club).

Manipulating a friend in a fragile mental state is a shit move.

Mila is cute and kind. But she also holds grudges and is a coward. If you are on Bella path, in chapter 4.5, and you chose her to walk outside, she doesn't hesitate to kiss you and get pissed when you reject her, despite the fact that she KNOWS you're with Bella.

Chapter 1 season 2 will be more centered on Zara, we'll see how she develops.

Each of the girls will have something you don't like or some sort of weakness. The theme of the game is healing, so I highly doubt that even characters like Amber or Sasha, who seem strong and grounded, won't have some weird or fucked up shit going on.
After all, Amber, a 40-year-old woman and psychologist who is falling for her client 20-year-old her cadet, is kind of fucked up.

No one, beyond larping and memes, sanctify Bella. We, bella lover, like her BECAUSE of her flawed nature, not because she's an angel who did nothing wrong.
People dislike her for being a criminal, is kinda weak. First, If she's a criminal, so are MC and Ayua. And strangely, I don't see people talking shit about Ayua for being in illegal races.
Concerning the holgelsons, I don't really care that much either, and Bella even give us the $10,000 bucks. And frankly, the fact that they accuse Mila of what Bella and MC did just show they are huge grade A assholes that deserve what's coming to them.

As for Ocean, he can like whoever he wants. It's not like it's influencing people. Bella, for example, was never his top girl (iirc).

You are free to call on Bella's bullshit the same way people are free to call Mila a coward, Nami a manipulative bitch or Vic a naive creep.

Ocean's made it pretty clear that Nami was a crazy bitch back in HS, before whatever incident landed MC near death in the hospital. That changed their relationship completely. She's still crazy, obviously...

Yep, not that far a stretch, he also mentions that she's partly to blame for how he became after Summer disappeared. Maybe Nami blamed him for what happened to Summer at his most vulnerable moment and it affected him that way. Maybe something else... Who knows, until the game is completed, Ocean can insert anything there, too much room for interpretation.

And remember people are saying they look for august for the update S2 Chapter 1 so that will be a total of 1 year and 8 months of nothing. think about that number the last time there was anything from Ocean it was the Steam release of S1.but if i'm being honest and judgeing Ocean by his habit's and Pattern'ss then I say Winter this year but I will not be Surpised if we get nothing this year at all but more and more excuses. and Ocean taking out another Loan to buy some other bullshit workstation for putting out renders 5 secs faster.

Possibly some kind of Summer roleplay moment that got out of hand? Remember Nika mentioning he saw Summer once more after the cabin. I certainly thought her choosing summer's hairstyle at the lake was a weird red(head) flag. There's certainly a lot of her emulating Summer and then trying to outdo her.

At very least whatever Nami's deal is, is one of the many mysteries we're going to find out, hopefully at the next therapy session.

You're into something. If Nami became more aggressive after summer's disappearance, knowing she's manipulative and insecure, she could've done something to try to make MC jealous, or even riling him up for him to react. And a reaction she got, the supposed incident.

If you don't go on the heist at the Holgersons, you get a scene with Nami, and she talks about Nika not needing another charge.

But charge doesn't assume conviction, my theory is that he got charged with abducting Summer by her parents, or he got charged for the fight in the violent incident - he might have a punctured lung, but who knows what anyone else got if it was a fight?

Plenty of potential scenarios. But I think the charge might have ended with a form of home detention with some sort of bond - maybe that's why Noji is poor, and why Jenna says Noji maybe did the right thing?

That'd tie up a lot of loose ends simply though, so it's probably not right

I was looking at all the excuses Ocean has given this last year or so and i think i'm on to something so what i can remember of 2024 was the taxes of S1 on steam or something like that. then we had the excuse of he can't find people to work at his pace and with his so called passion. then we had his bullshit workstation that was suppose to put out updates faster and we have seen how that has gone. so i have come up with 3 more excuses we can possibly see from Ocean, 1# he needs a break he is mentally burned out and needs months of recoverly, 2# he needs a vaction to re-set himself emotionally which will take months, 3# he is sick ,he has a spitter in his finger, he has a headache and no aspirin and or he has a runny nose and no tissue, or he has the shits and no tolet paper. if you can think of anymore excuses we may get from Ocean be sure to post below. thank you.

Ah, it's no big one, it's just that if we're going to call Mila bigoted (in what way?) there's characters exhibiting far more bigotry. Vanessa has a systematic and unreasonable prejudice against men. Bella has a continuous desire to mock people for poverty. Stahl? What WASN'T he bigoted about ...oh, right that was befor the rework too my bad.

It's no big deal, it simply feels like you're overhyping Mila's negatives, simply because you don't like her character. No one in the gam is a saint except Vic and Sonya ...and maybe even then, Sonya's only acting innocent to avoid notice, like she does at home (nah I think she's transparently nice, but Ocean will hit us with some kind of trauma about her).

Stahl and Vanessa are not bigoted, Stahl is simply "joking" its not meant serious (even in the old version and we see him stop and know all the names as soon as he is pissed).

Vanessa's whole women are superior is more like a fetish than bigotry lol, of course its !!! C R A Z Y !!! but not bigoted and even less as she seems to make expections to her rule like in case of nika. Vanessa is out of touch with the real world (not counting her rich people circle).

But at least it makes both Stahl and Vanessa kinda unique which makes me like them more than Mila already
