Awwww, the Movie Version of FC had the happiest ending ever! Don't remember the book much, it's been a few decades.Nah, not forgetting. I'm not sure I've ever seen two traumatised people heal together, they usually tear themselves apart. I also think, that Bella's been a wild card for way too long a time - Amber's been pretty slack dealing with it, and she can't be that naive when Bella leaves guns around her bedroom, comes home with a new car that Amber didn't pay for... we know Bella doesn't work with Mila waiting tables, so where does her cash come from?
I'm thinking Natural Born Killers or Fightclub are the best examples.
But we know the answer and we're so obnoxiously right![]()
Also, for a prominent psychiatrist with a stellar reputation, Amber seems much shadier than it would seem. She definitely was coming on to Nika, if subtly, and she does mention that she's failed to help Bella (she tried, if that's so, which would be seriously unethical, you're not supposed to shrink your immediate family).
I had shit therapy for a long time that either didn't help me or made things worse, until I found a therapist that understood me as much as he understood my problems. He was able to reach me and relate to me well enough that I got some catharsis and understanding of some of my underlying issues. Some people are easier to help than others.
