To be honest, I listed the secondary reasons and didn't include the main one, so as not to start another argument. I won't describe the entire situation, but I'll just give a couple of examples so you understand the essence of the problem that arose among Ocean's subscribers.

Our world is structured in such a way that its most valuable resource is time. Any production is limited by time, even creating renders. Let's take a carpenter who has received an order, for example. He calculates how long it will take him to complete the order (let's say five days), adds a couple more days for unforeseen circumstances, and ultimately tells the client that he'll complete the order in a week. What happens if the carpenter doesn't complete the order within the agreed-upon time? He'll lose money, but most importantly, he'll lose his reputation, and therefore his clients. To preserve his reputation, it's common to offer discounts to clients as an apology.

Now, back to Ocean and his game. When he said he'd finish the game by the end of the year, it means he was sitting there calculating how long it would take him to complete his update. As we all know, he didn't do it. Even if someone had problems, it would be fine if the update came out a week or two later, or a month at most. It's already been over a year. How was Ocean supposed to time his work to delay it by more than a year? What were the reasons for the update's delay for such a long time? Ocean can't answer that.
Let's sum it up. Tell me, after all this, do you think sponsors will treat Ocean like a cool guy or like a scammer milking them? Does Ocean's actions inspire confidence in his sponsors, or does he make them doubt the successful completion of even Season 2?
Look, I'm not questioning Ocean's unreliability, that goes without saying. That's why I think the concerns are valid still, even if I didn't agree with the reasons you listed. That's not what I'm asking though.

All I want to know is what you claimed in your original post, which is where Ocean has said explicitly that the new season will be 16+ too, as was Season 1, because I can't remember anything of the sort. If you can't produce it, that's okay, don't worry, I'll be charitable and just assume you mixed it up with his continuous talk about the 16+ rating for S1.

Hello, I have a doubt, install the uncensored patch but there are images that are missing in chapter 2, where can I find them?
The images are almost at the end of chapter 2 from the joke that makes bella To his neighbor

The conversation was about the upcoming update of Season 2, and not about Season 2 as a whole, don't get confused.

I love it when I read that "they now render static images and animations in 4k quality, this makes rendering take longer."... FOR WHAT? According to Steam stats alone, only ~5% of people use 4k monitors, ~20% use 1440p, and ~53% use 1080p. Most people don't see the better quality anyway, I also play on a fricking FullHD. And because of that, the whole game takes up extra space...

You know, I'm torn on this one, truly. You would think if it's better than you can display you shouldn't (in theory) notice it, but there are some areas in which you do. Anything that's full motion rather than stillframe, for example - so in the animations it'll certainly play out nicely.

The best comparison I have for that is Star Citizen (don't murder me, eh?) - I play it in 1440, that's all my screen will handle, but I watch vids of people that are capturing it in 4k, and the game they are seeing is far sharper and nicer than what my game is giving me. The resolution by raw numbers suggests I shouldn't see a difference, but boy howdy, I do.

It's a process called . An image is rendered at a higher resolution and downscaled to match your monitor's output, resulting in a higher quality image than if you rendered it at your native resolution. Now, it's probably overkill for an AVN, but for people who are obsessed with having the highest possible quality, it does have a benefit.

The fact that's its been over 2 years since the last update is honestly crazy, It could up being 2 and a half at this rate.
i enjoyed the game but you just need to play it with mindset that it will never be finished. the fanbois get big mad when you mention this but it cannot be finished in less than 20 years unless the dev eliminates most of the love interests. i mean how many potential partners does the mc have? 18? each update significantly develops the story of one or two?

and then we get meaningless posts about how he wasted time getting the rights to some song i will mute. guess what dev, we don't care - nothing sexy about copyright discussions

if the dev stuck to the cheeto and the mean girl he could finish the game but he won't and thus the game will never be finished. don't expect updates, don't pay him and just be happy if an update shows up.

I just read some posts and maybe i missed the point, then i'm sorry.
I also play in 1080,sometimes 1440 makes a big difference BUT 4K in a RenPy game??
What's the point to do 4K renders in a fucking sex/porn/blueball/storydriven whatever 2D visual novel?
If it were like a HS game like "City Devil Restart" with alot of motions where it would benefit,ok no problems.

who downlaods compressed version in 2025?
I'm downloading compressed versions exclusively, like hell am I downloading and storing 6 GB of data if it can all fit into 500 MB. Not like it's some kind of high art or highly detailed graphics that need a lot of space.
*EDIT* Oh, and just because it's been so long so it's getting lost in the search as well, the latest compressed version (as of 2025-11-14) can be found here.

I know. However, in a few cases I have encountered that it broke the game in various ways. That's why I don't like to download compressed versions.
Then it's a problem on your end i guess, maybe the wrong unzip/unrar program?
Cuz i ALWAYS download compressed cuz i have a download limit of 100GB for 18,99 EUR .
Compressors/uploader like SonsOfLiberty and Bob69
do an awesome job und provide virus free uploads, hell they even check their own uploads when win-defender flags some random stuff IF you ask them nicely .
