why not? he will have more audience to cate from it.....The whole reason he got kicked off Patreon was because of incest.....
And now you think incest will work on SS........

Because incest is against Subscribestar's TOS as well...why not? he will have more audience to cate from it.....
Really wish there was an alternative for Patreon and SSBecause incest is against Subscribestar's TOS as well...
Until payment processors feel the pressure and lean on SS, like they did to Itch/Patreon/Steam and they too start heavily moderating.99% of the time SS looks the other way and doesn't really care about your game's content (for the obvious reason they make money off it).
It's filled to the brim with incest, loli/shota, r@pe etc games that migrated from Patreon when they started censoring.
Getting banned on SS due to fictional content is quite a feat.
True. I guess that could happen. No way to know the future really. But until now it's been pretty safe.Until payment processors feel the pressure and lean on SS, like they did to Itch/Patreon/Steam and they too start heavily moderating.
People also assumed Steam was "too big" to kowtow after Itch/Patreon crumbled, it will eventually happen.True. I guess that could happen. No way to know the future really. But until now it's been pretty safe.
Oh I knew Steam was gonna crumble sooner or later (they have been censoring anime games for almost a decade after all).People also assumed Steam was "too big" to kowtow after Itch/Patreon crumbled, it will eventually happen.
It’s different when you think of your game as your retirement plan rather than a one and done dealTrue. I guess that could happen. No way to know the future really. But until now it's been pretty safe.
The only hope for it is getting legalized in the US at some point in the future, otherwise there’s no hope whatsoever for Alabama's gangPeople also assumed Steam was "too big" to kowtow after Itch/Patreon crumbled, it will eventually happen.
I guess? But if you're thinking about something that serious and long-lasting, the best way to future-proof it is to just use your own website/platform then, no? Self-censoring to fit in with the present standards is no long-term guarantee. It’s different when you think of your game as your retirement plan rather than a one and done deal
The problem is not the plataform, is the paymeant processors, Ocean with his own plataform would fall in the same problem and just expand his headache. As long as Visa and Mastercard and Paypal keep crack down on IC devs will stay away from it.I guess? I don’t want to go fully off-topic, so this will be my last reply. If i remember correctly Ocean blamed the issue on having to pay taxes in every country he sells in. Personally, I think he’s mainly afraid of Uncle Sam and the IRSI guess? Yeah the payment processors are getting out of hand. Unless a competitor arises that does not censor content it'll only change if we get a law that says they can't decline transactions unless they have proof that it involves a crime. They haven't annoyed anyone with enough money to fight them yet though. Nobody wants their bank to be the morality police. I like this thing that is not illegal and I want to buy it so mind your own business. I don't care if you don't like it.The problem is not the plataform, is the paymeant processors, Ocean with his own plataform would fall in the same problem and just expand his headache. That's fair. But like I said (at the moment and for quite some time now) SS seems like a safe-haven for most game devs no matter the spiciness. Also I think targeting a single personal website seems much less likely than targeting a big platform. I'm no game dev though. The problem is not the plataform, is the paymeant processors, Ocean with his own plataform would fall in the same problem and just expand his headache. Yeah guess that could be a problem. No idea how that works. Maybe he could make them "donations" instead of "purchases"? No clue.I don’t want to go fully off-topic, so this will be my last reply.
