Well, Ocean tries to stay halfway realistic in most things. While a bit stretching, the fact that the main group of characters in "SG" is looking great (their parents included) could be explained that he focuses on one specific group of people from a school/college of hundreds, or thousands.
As for an "oops" pregnancy and how it is stopped, there is an example in old WIAB.

Cheeto genes are independent though, a cheeto kid can be born even if neither of the parents are cheetos themselves. That happens when both parents carry the same type of gene ( which I can't remember), and then the cheeto is born.

Yeah, Imperial is right. My brother has blue gray eyes and neither my father, my mother or any of our grandparents have blue eyes, all brown, but our great grandfather had them and he looks a lot like him. Genetics is random as hell.

that's absolutely right,you see so many characters or locations in other games that are similar. if you do have it,you just reuse it. if you always had to buy more from daz it would be expensive.

In 90+% of erotic games I agree with you that the really expensive DAZ assets get reused so you don´t have to buy new ones. Ergo you see many similar characters running around, unless a really niche or highly modified asset was used.

But Ocean belongs to the minority of developers who use this for story purposes as well. "Summer´s gone" is the sequel of "Where it all began", which play in a rather small city. If characters from the games look similar to some others, then it is intentional. Be it that they are related (see Ayua, who by looks and hints, "Aunt Kati", is clearly meant to be the offspring of Miru and Willi), might be related or just lucky/unlucky to sport a look. (SG MC and Nami might have some relations or were unlucky to be misidentified, because in WIAB the crime and mystery story elements are a lot stronger than in SG)

Well, even the girls that are in the background and you only see them in one frame are gorgeous. I was happy Ocean did that fat guy in the hospital in the reworked chapter 1 - else I would have doubted if he is even able to design ugly people.

You know that's a great point. I hope some of the characters actually ARE ugly from time to time. In our normal lives we see people that look very different throughout the day, fat people, skinny people, etc. so it makes the LIs that much prettier when you're seeing just average looking people or even ugly as fk people in the world, too.

And as lewd stuff will always just play the second fiddle I am not sure it will ever be for you.

The story and the characters are great though. Very lifelike.

Hello,

So, today it's going to be a relatively short Dev Log.

WiAB's in the end phase and SG is closing in fast too.
But I still have something to say... and show.

Two dev logs ago, I published an "Ad" for a coder.
I found one pretty fast and his resume (Knows his way around Renpy/Python) was promising. We agreed on the pay and things started to unfold.
And with that, I mean nothing happened. I removed him from his position a month later, when he had nothing to show for the third time.
And this is the third time somebody I relied on became an annoyance. An annoyance that actively hurts development.
Two coders and one proofreader have gone this way before.
This is why I absolutely hate relying on others to get things done... Now I lost a month of coding progress.
I'm not going to get another coder on board, I'm just doing it myself now. But people that know their way around Python/Renpy coding, can take a look at the code after the release.
I would appreciate any feedback/suggestions/ways to make it better.

The coding for the phone and apps is manageable, so I'll be able to take this part into my own hands too.

2. Moving
I'm currently traveling a lot... To be more precise, I'm traveling to different cities to view apartments. That's quite the time investment, but I think I found the right place. Now I'm just waiting on their approval.
I will release WiAB and SG before I move.

3. Previews
The last two Preview-sets were Mila and Victoria focused.
Today, we focus on the Cheeto.
