Rofl, thanks for noticing away, corrected now. My bad, I've might confused the twins :ROFLMAO:
This is embarrassing..
Don't sweat it, they're basically the same model except for different eye color and earings.

Renders - 3/5
:WaitWhat:

No problems with your review since most of it comes down to personal preference anyway but that point?
Personally I think at least the more recent renders or reworked ones are pretty much at the top of the scale for what's possible with DAZ. I mean, compared to other well loved entries in the AVN genre there are country miles between Oceans eye for composition, cinematic angles and lighting and the next game on the list.
Just in my opinion though, and everyone has one. Just like a butthole.

Wait, I didn't even notice it. I wonder how the game with 5/5 renders looks like in his opinion

Have to agree with you guys! Oceanlab is pretty much at the top of render quality among the erotic games sector. 3 out of 5 is a serious undervaluation of his graphics work.

It's not just the quality either.
I don't know of any other dev that would place and pose like 15 other characters just as a backdrop to make the scene look more realistic, and then have them move along independently as the conversation goes. If you ever wondered why (usually very busy) places look so sterile in other games, that's why. It's a shitload of work that often gets completely overlooked.

You are quite right on this, but I included the detail work in my quality remark. We can see this in many of the best games on site! The small (and sometimes large) details and micro gestures make a game better. See Pale Carnations with the small gestures and Maryland licence plates or WIAB/Summer´s gone with it´s detailed jewelry, gestures and background changes.

Definitely.
That's also why I have real problems when people try to measure a games value, progress and content by numbers.
The "number of renders" doesn't really tell you anything because there is a massive difference in time and effort between setting up a scene

One scene looks "alive" and the other one does not.

What amazes me the most is how good the facial expressions of the characters are. It expresses various emotions and feelings with a simple movement of the eyebrow or a slight movement of the corner of the mouth. For example, Vanessa, after playing tennis, when the MC accused her of trying to fool him. One moment she's annoyed and stern, the next moment she's open and friendly, and all it took was a slight change in the angle of her shoulders and a little smile to show that she had been acting before and now she had cut the act.
In most games I've seen, this aspect is left out or exaggerated, making the characters look like clowns.

Shrek was just memeing to someone else :LUL:

Though I'm not sure how to put it down to floor a scoring scheme for renders, but in a nutshell, probably something consist from following key points (from user perspective, since I'm not familiar with technical terms for that):
1) Evolution of 3D models - self explanatory, such as characters design and it development towards rendering process depending on engine.
2) Environment level of details - this is main part and takes in-depth to understand lighting, texturing, colors and effects to bring environments to life (visual/auditory).
3) Aesthetics - Optional, beauty standards in-game and characters structure (hair, eyes, nose, facial and such, you get the point) and voices if included.
4) Animations/Transitions/Cinematics - The heavy work which I assume and takes time, provides more immersive detail and expression view to the story.
5) Closing/Value personal - Bonus point to whatever user feels sentiment overall to render completion.

In my eyes, I've declared score 3 out 5 because of issues 2) and 4)
Why's that if you may wonder? As PashafromRussia pointed out above, there are some mistakes apart from that during chapters which Ocean didn't intended on purpose when was doing rework which I will not point out as stated in initial quote:
it's heavy subjectively and biased.
But at this point, I can say already that I'm satisfied with his last changes towards rendering with DAZ. That's it, He would need to replace already old ones with newest and to some extent maybe improve or add more cinematic as well. I felt compelled to give additional point to it since I love the details of renders Ocean that does.

Right right, benefit of doubt (not that I care, but I do since this is the game I've played and looking forward to)
Thanks, I hope with time it would help with level of trust :)
