They seem more graceful if they are curved upwards because this prevents them from sticking together or freezing.

Yeah, I love this about his games. For instance, WiAB Chapter 2 is on another level. You get so many hints of a characters motivations, desires and reactions from their pupil dilation. There's a particular scene where Leia is just scowling at the MC but then moves closer and her pupils are dilated massively hinting at something else going through her head!
