But without constructive critism they might think its good enough and we keep getting pics that are mediocre at best.

My problem is most of it is "Uncanny Valley" territory. It just looks OFF.

I find it cool that some people are doing things here in a universe that we all like. To the extent that everyone is free to watch or not, or that no one is forced to do anything, and that in addition the work offered is never ridiculous or grotesque, it is quite the opposite, let's let the creative people create, thank them, and move on if we don't like it, that's our right. It's sad, it discourages those who have good ideas. There are those who do things, with good will... and there are those who criticize but who propose nothing...
