Hi folks,

new version is up!

Version 0.20.7-2.07:
  • Grace solo and pregnant sex scenes can now only be triggered in the appartment living room, in the evening (like the normal threesome scene with Odette).
  • Improved translation pack selection. If parameter USE_TRANSLATIONS is set to 2, the last selected setting will be auto-confirmed as soon as the mouse is no longer moving. If you don't want to change the language, just do nothing at game start. Otherwise, use the mouse to change the setting. This will probably not work on touch devices.
  • Made Jenny's diary zooming with parameter FONTSIZE.
Enjoy!

Hi guys,

Version 0.20.7-2.08 is up with improved savegame compatibility, naughty options (mostly hairy) for Iwanka and Melonia, and some fixes to the German translation pack:
  • Replaced the heuristic to repair broken saves (parameter LOAD_ERRORHANDLING) to use wide search instead of depth search to find a path for missing triggers. Depth search could have led to slow performance and even lock-up if too many triggers were missing.
  • Added three options to the optional content archive: Iwanka nipple chain plus hairy (trimmed), Melonia low-cut swim suit, and Melonia low-cut plus hairy (bushy).
  • Corrections and additions to the German additional translations archive.
Have fun!

I'm having a issue when trying to give Daisy a baby.

"
While running game code:
File "game/scripts/characters/daisy/sex_scenes.rpy", line 218, in script call
call call_pregnancy_minigame ("daisy_sex_post_pregnancy_minigame"3, M_daisy)
SyntaxError: unexpected EOF while parsing (game/scripts/characters/daisy/sex_scenes.rpy, line 218)"

Everyone else is fine, just Daisy can seem to run the minigame.

OK thx for the report, will check this evening. Are you using the most current versions of game and mod?

Is French Translation compatible with your current MOD, please?
I don't see why it should not be. But the additional translations I provide are for the German language only. You might take that as a template and translate the missing stuff yourself if you like.

I downloaded the "French" translation here:

that I put in the "game" folder and here is the result below (I restarted several times, but always the same):

I just tried the french translation and it seems to work just fine for me...

If you click on the yellow text, and then expand the Tribute Mod section, what is the value of config parameter USE_TRANSLATIONS?

Try to set this parameter to value 3 and restart the game. This should display the language selection screen and wait for your choice. You should see a third button on the lower left screen corner which tells you the currently active language (None or "fr" in your case, I guess). Click on the "Activate" button in the lower middle of the screen. This should activate the french language pack. If None was active before, this would again cause the yellow message to appear, but if you restart now, you should see in the lower left button that "fr" is active, and clicking on that or the "Activate" button in the lower middle would keep it active, and the yellow message should be gone.

The yellow message tells you that something must be activated by a manual re-start. As long as you keep the active language the same, you should not see it. If you change the language to default English (by choosing "Deactivate"), you should see it again, but it should go away until you click "Activate" again.

If that does not help:

Set parameter Tribute Mod: DISABLE_MOD = 1 and restart the game. This should disable the mod and behave like the unmodded game. If it does not work there, it will not work in the modded game.

If it does not help as well, re-download the current version of mod and translation and try again.

Replace the file "<Summertime Saga>\game\scripts\characters\daisy\sex_scenes.rpy" with the attached one to fix that.

Normally this goes away if you start a second time. If not, you should check if you installed everything correctly. I guess you've put everything inside a game folder that is inside the game folder itself, something like game/game/scripts/... It should be only game/scripts/...

It's the same here, except I'm using Portuguese translation. I did just as you taught above, but the yellow message persisted even after change USE_TRANSLATIONS=3 > restart, then "Activate" button > restart. Any clues? Thanks

What exactly did you install, only the community translation (pt.rpy I guess), or my extended archive as well, which is only for German language? What is the content of your game folder?

Can you please try the attached file and replace "<SummertimeSaga>\game\scripts\TributeMod.rpy"?

Then start the game. Set parameter USE_TRANSLATIONS to value 3 so that it lets you choose the language manually. Close the game and start again, choose your language. At this point, nothing should be changed and you should still have the problem with the yellow message (which I cannot reproduce). If not, then the problem magically healed itself and you should be able to use the translation.

If you still get the yellow message (as expected), please go to the following folder:

%appdata%\RenPy\SummertimeSaga

Find the file saga.log and attach it here.

Then close the game, start it again, and choose your language again (make the exact same choice). If your problem still persists (as expected because otherwise your problem healed itself magically), again go to folder

%appdata%\RenPy\SummertimeSaga

and find attach the file saga.log here (yes, the same file a second time).

Afterwards, you can set parameter USE_TRANSLATIONS to value 4, which disables the Mod's language selection and switches to vanilla mode, which should let you, after restart, play the game.

I have tried all the solutions given, but nothing works! So I give up and I come back with the GAME in English and your Mod!
If you find the perfect solution with just the press of a button to change the language, I'm in favor. But there, it becomes too complicated!

I am sorry to hear that. But it would really have been interesting if you would have tried the TributeMod.rpy that I provided and attached the saga.log file here.

If USE_TRANSLATIONS = 4 does not work, then the problem is with the unmodded vanilla game as well for all I can tell.
