Is it actually okay in this forum to refer to paying Patreons as “paypigs”?
No, it's not. I can speculate that he mentioned "paypigs" as a way of calling "supporter forever" or "I'm giving my money to this top 1 adult game developer on Patreon who is clearly milking his patrons and hoping to see an update sooner" person.
Which is their choice. Don't know why people care so much about what other people do with their money.
I think it's important to criticise the "simping" mentality because it's damaging the ecosystem, it's just unhealthy in general. It's not the same as telling someone to do something or not to do something; it's just like sharing knowledge. We just shouldn't be rude about it, like calling someone a "paypig" for example. I believe that anyone can stop "simping", it's not a disease. It's important to buy and support things that deserve it and not to buy "marketing shit".
Some info here and here (dead game, not recommended).

'Milking' is not the answer—being lazy with coding is.
DC, to my knowledge btw, is not one of the coders.

He's waiting for the next presidential election to figure out how he's going to finish this game.
Just go by school shootings instead, then you don't have to way four years.

And just to stay on-topic..: "I liek tis game,When's is next updade?!?"

And to call the update "vaporware" is not entirely correct in my opinion,
that would be it if there were only promises without proof of progress,
but DC releases new images, even streams him painting them.
There are also progress indicators on the website.
(I know this information may not correspond to reality)
"In the computer industry, vaporware (or vapourware) is a product, typically computer hardware or software, that is announced to the general public but is late, never actually manufactured, or officially cancelled."

He used the term correctly. Again vaporware refers to it's announced date vs actual release. A published progress bar with changes on it (real or fictional) means nothing. I doubt anyone would argue this update isn't late. Thus the usage of vaporware is right.

If he ever releases the patch, it'd be surfaced vaporware. However, with the reported coder leaving and new people joining months ago, perhaps it's more interesting to say they were in developmental hell/limbo and now they're in production hell. Which still makes this vaporware.

I agree, there's nothing wrong with being stupid and throwing money away, in fact, does anyone here want to support me while I pretend I'm making a game?
Why don't start one up, and see how it goes..?
If it's so easy to 'milk' as you think, you could be a millionare by now. Go get it done, you slacker!

Just to stay on topic: "Whens's theh next updade?!?"

Edit to add: "Which character needs the most new content besides the three who are in line for the next content updates (so, except for Rhonda, Annie, Judith)?" ;)

However, with the reported coder leaving and new people joining months ago,
I think you are mistaking some of the facts and, thereby, formulating an opinion based upon false information. The coder who is working today on the code is the same coder who has been working on the code for over 4 years. As for the new people, there was for at least a period of time, some revolving of the posers on the project. Otherwise, the prime members of the team have been on the team for a significant period of time. Almost exactly a year ago, Username7 updated the thread on the status of the posers (#69,872). I do not know the status as of today.

While I won't quibble with the term "vaporware"/"vapourware" in terms of the tech update being stuck in production hell, the actual game - developed to the point where it is - is playable for all and players are able to play for dozens of hours from day one within the game up through finishing the main storyline of finding out what happened to the MC's father. All the while banging dozens of women in the game. It is one of the most robust, content-wise, of all games found on F95 - even with it being short of receiving a "completed" flag.
Just to stay on topic: "Whens's theh next updade?!?"
Repeating this doesn't keep you on topic, per se. In fact, repeating the same question over and over (whether repeating your own post or repeating other's posts in a short time span) could be seen as spam, or off-topic.

Just to stay on topic: "Which character needs the most new content besides the three who are in line for the next content updates (so, except for Rhonda, Annie, Judith)?" ;)

Once again, it's because the entitled whiny people here want more free content and they're mad they're not getting it; they lash out however they can at anyone they can in hopes of easing their hurt desire.

If you think the devs care enough about this site to bother making false reviews, you're dead wrong. Any positive reviews left are from people who sincerely like the game. The game itself is still held in fairly high regard. The shit show in the thread is because this mother fucker hasn't had a major update for like 3 years and when it finally does, it won't add any substantial new content.
If I think that? No I don't think that and I doubt many people do. So please keep those premade arguments for your shampoo bottles.

When you have an account with 0 activity for years that suddenly reawakens to post a 20 word 5 star review then disappears or one that was made the day of the review with 0 interactions on other threads that posts a 5 star then posts bait on this thread before disappearing I think it's safe to say it's not genuine.
You can agree or disagree. Our levels of skepticism and what we consider genuine don't have to be the same. My post was to tell those people that they're not slick with their alts not that DC is paying for fake reviews on a pirate forum.

So, essentially, what you are saying is someone new to the forum liked the game and left a positive review.

Personally I just don't get the obsession some people in this thread seem to have with how much money he is making, when probably 90% of us never supported or will ever support the game. Do I think that he has done a very poor job managing the project? Yes, I do. But if people after all this time still want to support him, who am I to tell them that they are wrong? It's their money.
Also, what deserves to be supported is subjective. Just because I don't see the value in something doesn't mean others have to see it the same way I do.

They are even compared to alcoholics who can't get off the bottle.
Personally, I have never supported THIS game, but others and I wouldn't like to read
someone calling me "paypig" just because I made the decision to support a developer or their game.
Ultimately, it is a personal decision whether and how someone spends their money.

(25 Changes in the last 24 hours - sounds like they're making some progress)

An incitement to stop all payments would result in the game being
developed EVEN more slowly or even being discontinued.

There are a few sentences in manneychin's post that remind me
of statements like those made by conspiracy theorists. :geek:
You know, I'm just imagining this scene with Cartman answering phone and telling "Summertime Saga go fuck yourself!" instead of "Washington Redskins go fuck yourself" right now:
