Ok, so Diane now has 2 daughters, and I don't seem to be any closer to progressing with Daisy. I milk her daily, bring her an occasional pizza, but the available dialog doesn't change. Is there something in the story so far that deals with Daisy's prior life? And, what am I missing in order to get her pregnant? Or am I mistaken about that being available?

Go to the mall and buy Sunflowers for her. If you've already done that, then Diane is probably pregnant, and I don't think the game lets you breed Daisy until after she's delivered.

Yup! Finally got there! And, got her pregnant. Unfortunately, that seems to mean no more sex with her for a while.

Having just recently finished the recent 0.17.5 update, I gotta say that this new element was very underwhelming and even the update to Diane's story in general was mostly terrible.

I did think that the introduction of possible pregnancy to the sex could be an interesting part of the game given how many women the MC fucks, but I always wondered how the game would deal with it in terms of the other characters reactions and how it would deal with the kids after they're born. This update didn't do either of these things well.

To be frank, I don't quite like the speed of pregnancy, it's way too fast, and really? Kids? Why? It's not Sims, pregnancy as a kink is there, great, but kids? Maybe in the epologue but not before.

And if there are kids, I don't quite like the idea of just tossing a bunch of them into a "daycare center" just to forget about them. If pregnancy and kids is what they want, they should make the characters and events reflect that at least. For one, we could be shown mothers carry around their kids and interact with them. We could be shown characters changing because of them. I don't expect to actually care for virtual babies, but they should be present and affect characters' lives if they are. What you said about others pointing it out and/or wondering about the details should be the bare minimum.

I know it's WIP and all of it may be re-worked, but you can still imagine what comes next based on what came before, and I'm not sure I like what I see.

Adding a bunch of children that interact with main characters would be way too much effort. Nobody wants to take 3-4 months to come out with updates involving your offspring. You said it yourself: this isn't The Sims, it's an h-game, and people want more h-content without a bunch of complications like watching everyone around you raise your bastard children while you wonder if you should feel guilty or not about popping out more babies than Genghis Khan. The alternative to fast pregnancies is very long or even realistically long pregnancies, both of which are completely unnecessary. Some people want to see the pregnancy content and move on. Imagine if getting Diane pregnant locked you out of all her scenes for 8 months. That would be insane. Pregnancy fetish is great, but I for one don't want to end up playing father figure to 20 different mini-mes or waiting around forever because I got the whole bloody town knocked up.

As long as it's optional, I really don't see a problem with it. Birth control or a separate "Breed" option would allow pregnancy for whatever character you want without requiring you to do it in order to progress certain storylines.

Well, boinking women *while* they are pregnant might be a kick for some (not so for me but I know some are into that). But especially this part has been left out. I know, it would mean to draw each scene new, but it might be worth it. And: it's a fictional game. What about no children at all, just a new button in the sex options dialog: Cum inside, Cum outside, Belly on/off... Just like they used to have that with the x-ray in the old scenes.

I don't believe that's what they're saying or what anybody is saying. We're not looking for a SIMS-type game of raising many different children, that would be insane and a complete departure from the genre of this game, we're simply looking for a little more acknowledgement that these kids exist. Keep them as babies, we don't need to see them grow up, but it would be nice if the MC and Diane at least acted like they have a child. Right now, you get about 2 weeks of Diane holding the baby but then it's gone without even so much as a short cutscene to explain where they are and there isn't even any dialogue between the MC and Diane about the baby. Simple dialogue prompts like, "How's the baby doing?", or "How are you doing?", or "I still can't believe I'm a Dad", could be all that's necessary to at least acknowledge the baby's existence. Also, Diane could greet the MC like, "There's my handsome baby-daddy", or something like that.

I don't think this is really asking for much.

P.S. I also think that pregnancy should be a one-and-done feature where, after the child is born, Diane and all future characters who get this feature will automatically go on birth control and will tell the MC during their first interaction after the 2 week period where the baby is no longer seen. Also, I think this feature should be limited to certain characters and used as a proper plot device for them to advance their story and add more character depth. For example, having a child could make Jenny a better person and a teenage pregnancy for Roxxy fits her character, but I don't really think we need to see Mrs Johnson, Mia, Becca, Missy, Miss Bissette, Miss Ross, and all the characters we can fuck and have yet to fuck get pregnant too. If every single female character can get pregnant, it certainly acts as a warning to people playing about unprotected with multiple partners, but it diminishes this feature as a plot device for developing a character.

P.P.S. I also think that it shouldn't be a given that the women will carry their pregnancy to term and that, especially for characters like Jenny and Roxxy, abortion should be an option.

As far as I see it DC said that we'll basically get 2 types of pills, the current one that increases the chance to get pregnant (either permanently until you take another pill or for a given time until it returns to a base rate) and one that reduces the chance to get pregnant to zero permanently until you take the other one. So those who don't want to bother with that kind of content (they won't miss anything important anyway) can take the second pill and it's done. While I'm not really happy with the way the whole pregnancy thing is handled (I'd rather see more elborate content for only very few characters) it's a niche fetish which isn't and won't be really relevant for the story anway.

me personally i really enjoy the pregnancy feature and i can't wait to mom up my newly improved blue haired goth gf

i don't know what could be improved about that, i definitely don't want DC to take a month more per update just to make the pregnancy feel more realistic. it's just there to satisfy a kink and that's it, summertime saga isn't realistic anyway and i feel what they are doing now is a nice compromise between development time and depth (for the preggo feature)

All they really need to do is add 1 or 2 dialogue options when interacting with the female character after the baby's gone to daycare and a short scene when you go to see them after the 2 weeks they have the baby to explain that's where they are. It's the bare minimum to at least acknowledge the baby's existence and I can't see that requiring too much extra time.

Also, if this feature was added because it's a kink, why can't the MC have sex with them when they're pregnant? Seems to me that that's the kink for some people. (Also incest pregnancy if you use the mod to restore it to the original relationships.) Diane's pregnancy is an aspect of her storyline so, in a way, it feels like a unique thing to her character. Expanding it out to every single character, whilst accurate because of all the unprotected sex the MC has, just makes this feature seem ridiculous. If it's used as part of an important narrative plot device for a character, then by all means add it, otherwise don't bother and just have other women tell you it's "safe" to cum inside them.

That's what I wrote some hours ago. I mean, it's about pregnancy, not children, right? And as Dogeek already pointed out, having little children running around in a porn game is something that will lead in the totally wrong direction. You know what I mean.
