Do you guys think completing Debbie's Mom's path will be a prerequisite for 0.20 main story?

Some of it, probably. All of it, can't really say.
Only DC can answer that for certain.

Diane and Debbie's content are interlinked, requiring certain levels of advancement with each one, before you can complete them anyway. It's not beyond reason that 0.20 could have parts of the father/mob plot gated behind some of their content.

i've two questions: firstly, i'm unable to use 'save' files (issued from game admins) for some reason; which i believe to be because of my osx version (10.9.5). that is, i cannot find (even with hidden files shown) the 'summertime saga' folder within the 'library/renpy/summertime saga' path as instructed by admins. i've attempted to leave it within renpy (and other places,) but it's never worked.

secondly, on the current 19.5 build, after resuming the last save from the previous version, there are many tasks which i've to do again (which is fine,) but i cannot complete the task of retrieving the french exam from Smith's house. there is nothing clickable at her bedroom desk, and i cannot proceed without getting it. help! thank you.

locations for the save folder is in the game folder not lib/renpy/summertimesaga it would look like this SummertimeSaga-0-19-5-pc/game/saves if there is no save folder then create one or start the game start new game and save game and if you have downloaded a save from here you would have to rename it by taking the numbers off 12345_

Smith's house there is a picture on the wall above the desk there should be key there then click on the desk the exam is inside

It's by the wall. You will see a key. Take it and open the drawer and get the exam.

The key is right there or maybe there is something wrong with your download.

had to change time to night via console rather than late night to access scene, still saying i cant sleep

On 19.1 is there an issue with Consuela not giving the statue? I have been on multiple Thursdays but so far nothing. I have completed the Diane route but not Roxxy.

Android version doesn't play nice with packed .rpa files. Unpacked seems to work fine.

1. Create a "game" folder here: "Android/data/com.kompasproductions.com.summertimesaga/files"
2. Extract attached "patch.zip" to "Android/data/com.kompasproductions.com.summertimesaga/files/game"
3. Enjoy

Note: This is the patch for 0.19.5 version.

i have the fancy key, but i believe that's the one for the treasure chest. anyways, wouldn't the desk just be open if i already have it?
