Presuming you're on Windows, I had the same problem. I fixed it by going to the following directory:

Drive:\Users\[your login name here]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\SummertimeSaga

and deleting everything there. Starting with a new game prevented any looping. Hope this helps.

Just delete "persistent" file and restart. The rest of the junk in there are your saves, nothing will happen if you don't load them ever. Might need to delete the same folder in the "game/saves" folder inside the game's folder. Folderception included

idk if only i got this problem or maybe i didnt see that it got removed but for ome reason when i have sex with Jenny and cum inside her i dont get the impregnation minigame. Did the pregnancy get removed for Jenny or am i just doing something wrong?

Edit: okay false alarm. for some reason now that i ended jenny's route i get the impregnation minigame. whyever it didnt appaer during her story.

They know about the Mia route, it is only bugged if you complete the entire main story before you complete her story. And it is a similar state for Jenny, they know about the bug and will likely fix these in the next update. Remember, these main story updates are changing the entire story from beginning to end and not just the end, and so these challenges and bugs are to be expected. They will fix these bugs, guaranteed, and future updates that do not have such a large impact on the entire game and code will not create bugs like this in the future

Yeah I think it's best to complete the main story if nothing goes wrong that is.
But with the Consuelo path you get 2 choices. Put Grump in Jail by giving the police the evidence or get Consuelo fired first. Either way Consuelo gets fired and you begin her route.
But if you only do lets say the Tony route, You deliver the special pizza to Tina and run into Becca.
I feel like doing the Roxxy story and see how Becca reacts, but then I will have to use the Mrs Bennit story as well. Well a lot of my routes are messed up so I'm just hanging in there for the Consuelo, Tina and Toni story.

You have to go to Toni then Debbie then the attic then you see the box.

I think it is best to do 1 route a a time in case you have to repeat over and over.
If you have to do 2 then do 2 but no more. Those Mods don't help.
That Ross path is stuck for me once I get the wood I need for the flute and I go to the garage, nothing happens.
Same with Mrs Ross and Eric. Those paths repeat. You have to go back before you get the item.
If you have the item already in your pack, you're screwed, cause you have to go back many saves, if you can remember when you got the item.
Yeah, this update is messed up. The other updates weren't this bad.
Oh yeah Mia's path was messed up too so don't do too many path's or you'll regret it.

According to this post you should avoid rollback (or at least be more careful) and avoid saving and reloading in the middle of dialogues/scenes.

What "option to debrief Tony" are you talking about? Go to sleep, you wake up with a headache and the definite idea to visit Tony. Do that, story continues. You then go to Debbie and talk to her about the box of belongings, which magically appears at the attic and cannot be missed unless you really want to.

If you push through the main questline until Yumi is stationed outside your home before progressing Mia's storyline you get locked out of Mia's at the "find clues to Howard's location' step as Yumi is no longer in the police station to question about Howard.There is no way to ask her in the car outside your home.

Lol a 20.8 update now huh.. After that underwhelming update that took 5 months for 5 new (lackluster) cookie jar scenes and piss poor quest lines.. Wonder if this will take another 5 months for 20.5 -> 20.8. But people will defend DC no matter what and eat it up, so I don't expect it to ever improve.

same here, bro. i have never chose to sign on to the furor over length and quality issues of updates, but this update was laughably bad. i didn't even feel like it had a cogent relationship with the previous game. wtf was the purpose of all that treehouse drama? stupid shit. MC already had a job at Rumpland as "poolboy," and then after getting the guard to readmit him as iwanka's "assistant," he just goes back to being a poolboy. all the writing connecting the dots for iwanka (the visit to erik's, the yacht visit) seemed unecessary and contrived. and, apparently the best DC can give the cops is an incessant need to scold the MC for having the balls to investigate Rump/Russians . omg, just stfu already about "how dangerous" it is. and don't get me started about the lazy sex scenes; you get the initial yacht scene where DC manages to show us some titty flesh in motion. otherwise, garbage.

I don't usually comment here, as you can tell by my 3 posts. But this is the worst update yet:

1. There are just random sex scenes put in, with no rhyme or reason.
2. There is almost zero addition to the story line.
3. There are single positions, or just horrible angles in the new sex scenes
4. The left over animations from the step mom, Erik's mother, Mia, amongst others look horrible compared to the rest of the scenes.

Believe it or not, I play this for the actual story, if I wanted random sex, I would just watch porn. It took EFFORT to get Mia in bed, it took effort to get Roxxy in bed, etc etc. I like the RPGish element to the game.

Just adding random sex scenes here and there adds nothing to the story, nor gameplay. It seems this DEV is just adding random sex scenes, with pregnancy, because he obviously has a breeding fetish for some reason.

If COVID played a part in this shitty update, fine. But it's insane how the content updates at this point, are months and months in between, and are just bland. This has to be the most profitable porn game out there, and actual thought put into it, but I don't get what it is going on with the progress on it.

Story wise I would have to agree with you, this is not their best work, it has been pretty underwhelming so far. As for the left over animations from early updates, they will be updated when DC reworks their stories, but it won't be anytime soon. People on patreon haven't voted for them in the polls. Best case scenario DC will start working on them in 2022.

You dudes also have to keep in mind this was and still is a "mid-build" update where nothing huge was ever supposed to happen. They decided to split it in multiple parts so people could have something to do every few months (and failed at predicting how much time it would take) instead of waiting almost a year for the complete 0.20. Imagine 1 giant ass update that would include Maria/Tina/Wanka/Melon/Liu/Nadya/Consuela/(Yumi) and probably more but takes over a year to make with nothing releasing in-between OR what we got now : 3 builds every few months with a bit of smex sprinkled around
