Some people said that it was our fault to vote for the tech update instead fo the other routes.
For my personal opinion DC could have completed all routes and then do the tech update as a polish version of the game.
Also DC it not at fault there they didn't know that they would so much problems with the codes and the posing.

it's not because back then he said it would take as much time as a regular update so 3-4 months. if he was being honest nobody would have voted for the tech update knowing it would take years with no end in sight. i also don't buy that you can miscalculate the scope of the project by years no matter how shitty of a project manager you are

2 years ago, tech update was 80%, now 2 years later it is 82%, that is (correct me if I'm wrong), the game will be completed in 18 years?! Apparently, it could be the other way around, 18% were completed and the other 82% is still missing, which in theory would be 82 years?!

no, it means the tech update will be completed in 18 years. and if things continue at this pace, it will take him another 100 years to finish the next update.

That would have been the best route to take, but tech was the choice they made and the development of tech is nowhere near the end has it still missing alot of stuff to do, probably 2025 we will see the end or end of 2024, but i have to say they were aware of the problems they were going to face they just never thought it would take them this long, Dc needs to stop acting like there isnt a problem, cause the coder has alot on his shoulders and an extra hand would have been a lifesaver sure it would have reduced a bit on first week the coding but by now they would have progressed alot, posing isnt helping either cause i heard many times they the reason of the slow progression and its building up more work for the coder.

I honestly think there should be a monthly voting system where patrons can vote and if certain goals are not meat = no money, and based on a super majority vote so 2/3 of the patrons, so these fucks can get create shit on a decent pace and not abuse the f system. . he is ranking in 60 k a month at a snails pace progress.

Why would anybody spend money, so he can vote to not give money? It's really way, way simpler: If you are happy with what you get, you give money, if you are not, you don't.

If 2/3 of people think that DC is too slow, they should just cancel their pledge. It's basically the same effort as casting a vote in a poll and it's much more effective.

As expected, the Rhonda material from stream ended up as our monthly "please don't unsubscribe guyz" wallpaper. Are these supposed to be phone wallpapers, though? The dimensions are for 1080p, but unless you leave a second screen permanently on portrait mode for comics and hentai work documents it'd make for an awkward fit on a normal monitor. And though I don't like to judge, you'd have to be a special kind of degenerate to leave up cartoon smut as your phone background when out in public.

We've seen that resolution before with some of Jenny's images. I'd guess these are supposed to be cutscenes/pictures, which will be sent to MC's phone in the game.

Edit: The number of patrons who actually use these images as "wallpapers" is probably close to 0% - no matter if it's on PC or on mobile. At least I'd be surprised if anybody is actually giving DC aditional money just to get these.

I mean, i think DC's output vs compensation has been laughably skewed in the wrong direction like most people, but some of these suggestions last page or two?

Setting aside that these suggestions are being made by people already not supporting him, but how would that logistically work better than simply cancelling support?

yes and we both know he owns it all and in 4 years there was basically no progress he was making and remaking constantly for absolutely no reason the "main story" with all that money he could have already hired 50000 coders he could have spent money to boost the progress people are paying him for that reason not to go every other month on a vacation for 2 weeks not for him to buy houses work on the game for 1 hour at most a day cause on the streams you can clearly see that there is no progress he is constantly speaking to the same lonely losers who have absolutely nothing better to do then simp for him he is not working at all and you know it too, its not the skill that he cant manage it, he doesnt want to he has absolutely no incentive, he is not even doing 2 hours streams if by any chance the stream is 2 hours long he did mostly speak to chat do dumb quizzes and scribbles but not do the work needed, he isnt streaming for 5 days now , he takes off almost every monday and then another day of the week changes, he gives people dumb excuses he could have avoided or done the stream later he choose the time of streams but the after 45 minutes of goofing he just randomly says he "needs to go cause the kids" or some other bullshit that anyone else could have done he has a big family we know that too he can ask for help but he rather obviously skips streams or abandon them halfway, and yes we all know that you are gonna remove this comment AGAIN like every other that states FACTS

There's a voting system already in place. If patreons aren't satisfied, they can vote with their wallet by terminating their subscription. So, that 60k tells you what they voted for. If you dont' like it, that's fine. Bitching about what a developer makes here and the like is farting in the wind. We are here to play games for free - without paying for them in any way, shape, or form. Bitching about others doing so (even when it's not the case - such as here since the game is available to everyone for free from the developer) is moot at best, hypocrisy at worst.

I stopped supporting DC quite some time ago. I have little doubt he'll eventually finish the game but spending over a year now (longer I think) on the tech update is utter insanity not to mention unnecessary. The game should've been content complete before beginning this. I mean I subbed years ago to DC for nearly 2 years in the hopes oF Judith and Eve content, eventually got the Eve content but after god knows how many years still nothing for Judith.


Amazing game that immediately went downhill the moment the patreon changes came into place. Everything slowed down after that, I know it wasn't the cause but it was the timing for sure. Genuinely hope I'll be able to come back to this in a couple years and enjoy a feature and content complete game but I have severe doubts.

Ultimately the money being made in relation to the content being produced is utter insanity, while I understand he's not actually getting 60k a month after taxes and paying staff he's still making a significant amount of money producing effectively 0 results for those paying him. I've defended DC a lot in the past but can't really do it now. Theres symptoms of burnout there I'm sure but there is 100% an element of prolonging development for increased profit.

We've seen endless posts ranting about DC's lack of progress despite the vast income he is making, but they usually have the same thing in common:

They arent just posting why they stopped funding DC (or why they won't start), but are going that extra step and trying to get those that *are* funding DC to stop as well.

But of course, this is being done on a pirate forum, so... not sure who they expect their target audience to be on here. The handful of posters actively defending the dev?

So, since we hear plenty from the group that wants everyone to stop supporting DC, i'm curious to hear from those that *do* support DC *and* use this site:

What value do you feel you get for supporting a game that hasnt updated in such a long time, knowing the game is 1) free to download for everyone, and 2) all important patreon stuff will be leaked here anyways?
