One thing to note, Patreon is a US-based (California) company. That means US and CA regulators, and companies are not super keen to publicize that they are under regulatory scrutiny (I know from direct experience). I'm not saying that's definitely what's going on here, but it wouldn't surprise me.

The company's founders don't strike me as particularly moralistic, and this kind of crackdown rarely happens outside some sort of pressure. The depiction of certain sex acts is illegal in the US, and incest is one of those things. So even though we're not talking about actual human beings in these games, there could well be some external pressure influencing events.

One may add that he said stable and lasting alternative to patreon. Thus it's very likely not one of the current rather new and small alternatives.

Edit: The other big news is that the sister's/aunt Diane's update may likely get skipped/paused until things are a bit clearer.

Does't all he has to change are mom/sis "default names" and maybe few lines in the conversations? As far as artwork goes he does not have to change a thing. Change sis to roommate and mom to something and thats it? Or maybe Sister> Sisy. Then if MC call's her Sis it will be fine?

Yes, that's basically going to happen and Eric's story will have to be changed a bit aswell. Though I'm actually sure DC will be a little more subtle than some others and come up with an actual good story and adaptation.

He said that the "new" art that's needed is already done and that it's likely going to take a few days until the full patch is done and everything is changed. He's waiting for patreon to reply right now and we'll have to see how that goes. The new patch will be released with 0.15.

What I wanted to say before was... That the author should not create two different texts. But to release the game without any text on patreon. And the complete original text on another site. Simply to say for the text to go on another site he open. Without linking the file directly. If it does not insert a direct link, there should be no consequences. At least that way it should be. So those who play there must only apply it. And you do not have to do a double job to create two plots just to please the site.

So what's DC has been saying today on stream so far.

1. He'll comply with patreon's demands and start seaching for alternatives to patreon at the same time. He doesn't care about revenues that much but wants the alternative to be lasting and thus it's very likely going to stay on patreon for quite a while.
2. He'll adapt the story and the content. We'll get to see the new content in 0.15.
3. The "home stories" (Jenny and aunt Diane) will likely be stopped for now since he doesn't want to have to redo them again and he'll move on to Roxxy, the underground cult, mia etc.
4. As soon as he finds another platform he'll change the game again to be as it was until now. So latest the final version will have everything that can't be included for now.
5. He himself doesn't plan to release cheats, patches etc. that would/could reintroduce the removed content as long as the game is on patreon.

This moral policing of Patreon is incredibly stupid on their part but it's their site and they're free to fuck it up as much as they want. I can't even be mad at them because all they're doing is leaving the door open for a porn-friendly competitor to step in.

Just to point out the obvious. Because that part is under construction since the game is still in alpha stage.
