I see what you're saying, but that's a different avenue because we simply can't predict or know everyone on the planet. If you know someone is put in a porn game without knowing/allowing, then you recognize it. When a character is seemingly random but turns out to be based on real person, then you couldn't have known in the first place.
EDIT: this goes for celebs you don't know as well, I don't know all celebs so I won't recognize all of them. It's simply up to the creators to just stop using people.

I'm also not saying you're bad for still jerking it to Melonia, I probably will too because I'm a fucking chimp, but I do think we need to at least recognize that it's not okay to put people in sexual positions without their consent. And I would like to see people draw/render/animate original or fictional characters instead of using someone's likeness.

Creepy sure could be, legality is another ball of wax. In America you don't have to change much to evade copyright it may be different in the EU but DC is in America.

As far as people who consume porn , it's near impossible to determine if consent was given unless the laws change and they stop letting porn being produced with out signed documents and even then coercion can and often is used.

What your pointing to is a deep issue humanity has been wrestling with for ages , but as it is with a great many injustices as long as there is money to be made the power structures of the world are likely not going to get in the way of that unless there is a strong united front among the non ruling classes.

Like I said to J4y, it's fair to assume consent is given because you simply can't know, unless you do like with celebs, it's up to the creators to sort their shit out though. That's why I find it disappointing that DC and other creators choose to draw women for their porn game without consent, when they can create original characters. And that's why I find it creepy because I know for a fact that those celeb women did not consent to have their likeness be used for sexual gratification.

Your probably right they likely did not consent especially the ones in this game , despite the money DC is making his check book is no where near big enough to write that check to get consent :sneaky: ( a rather crass judgment I am making as to the character of said persona's depicted in the game)
I can't point to an example but there have been famous people in the past that may have consented to something like this if they happened have particular proclivities. I know there have been plenty of famous women in dirty magazines that consented and were payed not a big stretch that some of these women may get a kick from doing that. As it is with stars in the sky there are people in the world that think differently about such things.

It would actually be pretty funny if it turns out DC contacted all the women he drew and got their permission lmao. But I think it's a fair assumption to make that that didn't happen. Maybe when porn games grow to be big enough, some celebs or pornstars will lend their likeness to big projects. What a shitstorm that would stir up lol

It was part of the game discussion about why DC chose to use X, if this gets yeeted then what can you really discuss about anything. It may have been off in a tangent but it still was a result of the Devs choices for the game.

lmao I started high school when this game came out, I just can't imagine this game will be finished in a state that isn't rushed before I enter my 30s.

Anyways, at the end of the day it's just a porn game so we've all gotten something out of it no matter what lol.

Can you still do the config.console cheat i cant seem to use shift+O anymore other than the wifi thingy on the cellphone its been awhile i played
