I mean if you pay , its ok to complain, but if you don't , just go fap to something else.

Thinking about it, by now DC should add a CG gallery/cookie jar to the game, as most other VNs have it.
So players don't only get to rewatch the NSFW sex scenes, but also the important cut scenes/CGs of any given story.
He seems to invest quite a bit of time into these in recently and most of them are actually quite nice. It would be a bit of a waste, if people couldn't have a closer look at them again later on.

Anyway, the display change is prioritizing mobile user experience (gaining better use of the full screen capacity of a mobile phone), since it appears they are DC's biggest audience (and will continue to grow for the foreseeable future).

I need 21:9 mainly for 3d art. Before that I had a 16:9 for nearly 10 years or so.
In my spare time I play some lewd games but it's rare these days so I don't mind waiting for an update from summertime saga 2 years or more because I have other stuff to do. On the other hand I can understand people complaining because they scan the forum like every two or three days. That can be pretty nerve wrecking.
if this update isn't like 5 hours of content I really don't know what the hell they are doing. Also I wonder if I will see the finished game before the sun explodes

Next to the new UI, the game is going to be expanded to 16:9, which means most backgrounds will get added details, there'll be quite a few new locations, some new characters, new cut scenes and some old art will be replaced, too. Next to that there'll probably be minor changes all over the place, to incorporate some changes.
Just 4:3 aspect ratio -> 16:9
The in-game UI won't be touched as far as I know
Some new locations will be added but we can't even use them until later updates
They're also cleaning up the code so that all the characters are on a "rig" system instead of only some
I'd like to bet that a fair bit of people don't actually care that much about the aspect ratio.

It's really only relevant for those on mobile, where 4:3 starts to become really uncomfortable, now that new smartphones have ratios around ~20:9. But given, that south east asia seems to be one of DC's biggest markets, the number of official downloads for android seems to be larger than those for PC. I haven't heard him talking about it for a long time though, so that may or may not have changed since I've heard it.

If it has, it would shift only more toward mobile. Gaming is moving more and more to mobile-first development because worldwide consumer spending on games (all, not just adult) shows that mobile spending is more than PC, console, and handheld spending, combined.
There is not expected to be any more pre-tech, per DC, to focus on the tech update. Pre-techs took time from and added more work to the tech update. Also, people on here bitched it wasn't enough content in pre-techs, people on here bitched it wasn't the tech update, people on here bitched it wasn't their waifu getting pre-tech content, people on here bitched the pre-techs were too few, people on here were too many, people on here pre-techs took too long... etc. So I mean, I can understand DC just saying "fuck it" to pre-tech updates.

I know I will probly be repeating but I havent followed the game for awhile. As far as I can see the tech updates has some good changes (in my opinion) however my question is will they be finished tech update soon or is it going to take awhile? Cuz asfar as I'm aware it's already like 8 months mayne for all the tech stuff or I'm wrong?

It's been over 2 years and no one knows (including the developer) how soon or late it will be for the release. But it's still free for you to play directly from the developer, if you wish, when it is.

Already 2 years damn I guess I haven't payed that much attention obviously lol. Then hopefully soon we can expect the update cuz for 2 years its really too long for the tech update. But let's not forget the content of the game and overall changed they had to make.
