Right now the prom part of the game is missing, so there's no ending, but once we get the dating system and a proper endings for each schoolgirl are implemented, it'll make more sense, especially given that it's still suppoed to be VN/Dating-Sim, which usually follow a certain pattern.
The harem feature may be called like that but we'll see how excatly it's going to work. You'll be able to furnish the beach house and girls will be able to move in. More isn't really known right now and we'll how to see, who will be included and how he'll manage it in terms of scenes. I'd personally expect it to be rather small and limited, given the insane amount of work anything else would be and given, that DC didn't want to implement it at first and only said he'll do it, because so many people wanted it.
