I don't understand why he insists on proposing the wide-screen version of the game since he has lost the contest. I hope it is not a trivial attempt to waste time.

Mainly because the game has a massive mobile/android playerbase by now. In some areas, like south east asia, it seems to be more than 50% and for those a wide-screen version would matter. In the end that's the main reason for the rig system and for other optimizations.

I think you can be pretty certain that the widescreen update will come at some point. After all, the poll wasn't about having that update or not, but about having that update "now". And to be honest, it'll indeed benefit the game quite a bit and quite a few people have been asking about it for a long time, the question is more whether it's worth the time or not.

No need for widescreen just to expand the map. Things like scrolling or paging exist

I don't think he even really wants to expand the map, given how much space there still is. So it's either going to be this map as we've got it now with some buildings being replaced or an updated widescreen version.

He may also just be kicking the idea around. Doing a little "what if" thought problem. Do a little "back of the napkin" sketch for a potential solution. And then it goes into a file for a year until he finds himself needing to do it.

This game is freaking me out... I just started the game 10 minutes ago, first time firing it up... what's freaking me out is my real life sister is named Jenny and my mother's name is Debbie... I of course changed the names... but man, way to break a fantasy and make it real... ugh.

I think the idea of relatives getting on is hot... but my relatives aren't hot at all.

Well we still need some homes for a few characters, like Judith, Rhonda, Conseula & Martinez, Lopez, Kevin, Anna, and maybe even the teachers for some "extracurricular activities" outside of school.

Guys, I did everything that is in the tutorial on Debby's route, now I'm on Diane's route, and this part is missing, I go into the room and Diane doesn't appear as it is here in the text.

I had once the same problem and if i'm not mistaken after you collected the package from pink store i had sex with her but i didn't got her pregnant,try this.

I don't quite remember what I did and i'm not gonna start saying some BS but check in the cookie jar scenes if you unlocked all Debbie storyline scenes and Diane as well and by the way If i'm not wrong Debbie's route is over when she wrote a note in your pc saying to get in the basement,check that too.

Check even if you completed some of Jenny's route.

AFAIK a lot of characters will share one "apartment building".

Yeah, but for them the space on the current map and in the new apartment building would likely be enough. I think Tony and Maria are even supposed to move in this update?

Edit: I'd personally say that a larger map would likely benefit the dating system most, since it will enable more and and better locations to date somebody. And it'll of course grant a little more freedom in general, given that DC woudln't have to use every bit little of space.

As far as I know no one knows what she'll be her hole in the game....
Someone said she could be the wife of the guy who killed MC's father or some other mafia member but if DC decided to add her in the next update she surely is an important character, we'll see.
