Mobile players and the small screen issue is a big part of the tech update which is planned to release later this month. We'll see how it goes then.

Not just that, many people actively can't use a PC anymore outside of the most basic shit. The students I taught ~5 years ago had only used Google Docs and needed step-by-step instructions on how to install MS Office to do their reports, and I'm guessing it's only gotten worse since then.

If any "old" gamers/techies (read: older than maybe 30) want to feel like crumbling into dust, give this a watch:

Wow that's quite something, but still I don't get the appeal of playing a porngame on a 5 inches screen. Maybe a tablet could be a good replacement if that's the intended target of DC.

People throwing around the word scam a little bit to flippantly around here. You all know this could never legally be considered an act of fraud, right?

its not like people here care too much about if something is legally a scam or not
things we know about this, the dev went on a tech update that he implied would go for like 4 months, and after 2 years he announced that the supposed update that they waited for 2 years will come incomplete and restart and go bit by bit until they reach the ammount of content they had before the tech update, whether this is a scam or not, this is a full scummy move

Very clear DarkCookie is taking his Patreons for a ride and isn't going to be releasing new content until more flake off, any maybe not even than, and is only doing this because people are pissed and this forum labeled the game abandoned.

I think the real problem with the whole thing is the lack of transparency behind the obvious difficulties the team faced in the tech update's development, as well as the decision to lump the content remakes in with it. It has given the perception of scummy-ness, when I don't think its the case. To me it just sounds like they ran into trouble early on, had to restart(maybe a couple of times), and decided to lump the remakes in with it, either as a reward to patrons for the much longer than anticipated wait or because it simply makes more sense to do it now. Then they just for some reason decided not to mention it to anyone until they bitched. If they would have just said it all from the beginning not near as many people would be upset.
