It's not like you'd grind for long. Not all the content is in the preview of the tech update.

And if all you want is the cookie jar opened - as has been stated by the developer on his site and in his changelog, as well as has been mentioned in this thread multiple times:

If you've played this before, you might remember this action in order to unlock the cookie jar (not needing the save --- also the new way it is implemented is that it doesn't effect your save, if you choose to turn the unlock off - the cookie jar only shows what you have opened, not the entire jar):

It's funny really, looking at the Cookie Jar (on the old version), out of 44 characters, there's only about 14 I actually like. There's the MC's "housemates", Eve and her lot, Roxxy and her lot.

When he starts rewriting the Mia/Helen route, Tammy/June route or even the main story, Maria and Consuela would be the only characters I'd want to check up on and they're far enough in the story that it'll literally be years.

It's all the more reason Patreon is unethical for looking DarkCookie continue doing this instead of shutting it down

DC's average patron pays ~$2 a month and it literally takes 5 seconds to cancel that pledge on patreon. This isn't some elaborte scam that costs people their livelyhood, but literally a sum most people won't even notice.

I mean, I get that people don't want that DC earny money for what ever reason, but saying that people have to be protected from spending on average ~$ 24 a year on something that may not be worth their money is almost laughable.

I recently spent 70 € for 2 cinema tickets and some snacks, just for reference, while we are talking about unethical pricing...

This is the type of arrogance that I've been calling out this whole time. It's evident in the very language you use. You and others have the arrogance to truly believe that everyone who doesn't think the way you do has to be objectively stupid and/or naive to the point of foolishness. And the people who call you out on your self-important stance are somehow not normal humans and must be amoral and unfeeling simply because we allow other people the right to spend their resources how they, personally wish, whether we agree on what they spend those resources or not. You're insulting the intelligence of, and infantilizing a bunch of people you don't know simply because you don't like the pace or content of a group of devs. That's it.

But that's not true either, is it? You DO like the content they provide, or you wouldnt even be here, it's just not fast enough for you. Which, fair. I'd like new content too. But I don't claim that the people who sub to the patreon are beneath my intelligence simply because I personally don't sub.

And now Patreon is "unethical" because they (oh horror of horrors) allow people the right to spend their own money how they please! I can think of WAY better reasons to call Patreon unethical.

The SHEER IRONY of you calling others White Knights in this situation is incredible.

The fact that you have that opinion of me shows you haven't actually read my posts, but simply applied your own distorted lens of myopic perspective to the conversation.

I have never said DC is amazing, nor have I ever implied that.

The problem that comes into play is that if people do not have the exact same perspective as you, you - and others - have a knee jerk reaction to calling them white knights and dick suckers and ass kissers rather than to have a conversation.

So, wanted to share, since i couldn't find info.
Before the Tech Update (v0.20.16) version works on joiplay. But as far as i know patreon version of Joip works better and have better computability. Joiplay.net you can download it here.
