People can still download v0.20.16 directly from the developer for free if they want to play the "absurdly big and entertaining" version.

Also, there is more lewd content in v21.0.0-wip.6155 than there was even in v0.14.5 (though not the same lewd content) I think. There wasn't even lewd scenes until v0.07.0.

Also, there is far more content - lewd or not - in v21.0.0-wip.6155 (or any v21.0.0 to date) than any v0.01 per alpha.

I read somewhere that DarkCookie himself sees it as a never ending project, like something he’ll keep updating until he’s old. So yeah, he’s definitely milking his Patreons to the max. The game was basically finished already, the main story wrapped up, only a few tweaks were left. But honestly? I don’t mind waiting forever, I actually love the new updates, It’s like that thing you never knew you needed, but now you can’t live without. Feels like he’s genuinely making the game better, new scenes, more chances to expand the story. Even if it takes another 40 years, I wouldn’t care.

One thing’s for sure, I’m not dumb enough to keep paying this guy a lifelong salary while he keeps milking. That’s why I dropped the Patreon and ended up here instead

Last fall, he stated on stream he would like to see 200 or even 300 NPCs for Anon to interact with.

Even once all 3 main goals are completed, it's obvious his plan is just to keep adding content over and over... and tweaking the code over and over... and making changes over and over. As long as he enjoys what he is doing, as long as fans keep asking for more, as long as he and his team has more ideas for updates, upgrades, revisions, additional content, changes in interfaces, etc.... he has no vision on calling it quits... at least not in the foreseeable future.

That's a way to do quick design and fully animated videos. That would be totally ok, because the original source is his own.

I've never paid for any game on this site. I have never subscribed or donated to any developer on this site. I have donated $10USD to F95Zone for access to the Donor DLL cache and to vote in the holiday competition.

I don't even have a Patreon account. Heck, I don't have a Subscribestar account, either. I don't buy NSFW games on itch or Steam or anywhere else. That's why I come to F95Zone, like millions of others - to take anything from here for free without compensating any developer.

Milk what? A game that Dark Cookie gives free to everyone who wants to play it? Sounds like dehydrated milk to me. Dude was still taking in bank even for the 19 months he didn't release anything except wallpapers and 12 months of reports. He didn't have to do shit, if he really didn't want to. He's already made enough already.

Regarding AI - you have on clue about copyright protection if you think that is "totally ok" -- so far, courts have ruled that AI generated art cannot be copywritten. Ergo, unlike his previous abilities to tell other developers to stop using his assets or face cease/desist orders delivered to the platforms that they receive funding from ---- if he switched over to AI, he'd lose that leverage. Also, if you think good, repeatable, responsive images and video generated by AI is "quick" - I would question your ability to discern what "good" is.

You know what, I think I can understand shitcoockie now. But just a little for I am aware of consequences of joining the dark side. It seems, in his abysmal falling during his anastetic induced trance(surgery and all that shit) he did predict the fuckering of Shisa and SuckerCard. So to evade their anger he decide to just delete all the content under the guise of "technical update". Then after few years of milking the braindeads with no content(and while the things calmed a little) he can return deleted content to double milk. It is just the anestetics was too strong so he totally missed the dates.

Yeah, those juicy NEW UPDATES, totally not a copy of what it was BEFORE "technical update" mumbo-jumbo. It is the best project ever made for someone with memory loss - imagine how they can replay the same TOTALLY NEW content every few years. Now with AI art instead of genuine pictures lillte automated help from digital science.
I see this as absolute win.
