There was seemingly dialogue to avoid romantic hints and interactions with the Cupid girl. It wouldn't shock me if the context for sex with her is to get the dress for Debbie, and the alternate option is to just buy the dress and avoid it. Just speculation mind you.

To be honest I think putting sex scenes for the shopkeeper in Debbie's story is a waste of time for development that is way behind schedule, but alas.

On that topic, DC still hasn't finished making the Asian restaurant yet, which may be one of the last things left to finish Debbie story (minus several repeatable sex scenes DC wants to add two months after that), so we just might make it with a month left to go. Although watch him go draw a whole sequence where you walk in the park with Debbie and get a handjob behind the bush and- Oops, Debbie's story will finish next update.

I agree that her storyline won’t be done this update but I think that has to do more with the fact they’re making Debbie the playable character for a mission or two of her story.
But for me I’m more concerned of the writing quality being hit or miss with Debbie and I fear this will continue with her last updates and future storylines.

Did you check the wiki linked in first post to see if there is more content at this time or if you have to wait until it is migrated over from old version?

I'm currently playing the apk version of the latest release on here, but is it a demo or something? For instance if I go-to diane on my phone it says wait for future updates. But it I go-to to the online gallery there's a bunch of scene's there and I haven't seen one. I have unlocked barely any scenes but There seems to be a ton on the online gallery..

I gather that the dev decided to do a "tech update" which is basically stopping development on new content and instead rebuilding the game with newer code and gradually migrating the existing content to that.

Is there any kind of progress tracker, on the wiki or elsewhere, that I'm failing to find? I see change logs of scenes being added in each version, but I have no idea if it stands at 10% of scenes have been re-implemented, 90% of scenes, or what.

You are close. Most has been removed to be dribbled back in roughly every two months(have no idea how long that schedule will stick). It will be a few years before they get back to the same content amount.

Without the Tech Update, you wouldn't got new updates anymore because the code was trash.
Even the Modders that did Mods for the old version said the code is shit.

Nonsense, with the amount of money this game is making, the dev's would have made it work. The code is for a simple adult game not a SpaceX rocket! Even if the code is shit they are not stupid and we would have been further along without this convenient rework.

Well it's still too early to tell but from what I have seen so far I am not impressed. I mean, we are talking almost decade worth of content pre-tech. The new scenes in the game barely look any different to me, so the fact that it's releasing at a snails pace when most of it is remade content is not good.

I will forever die on the hill that DarkCookie is doing this to milk his audience. Reworking an entire engine of a completed game-fine- but when a game has been in development for so long it's really disrespectful to the ppl who paid this fool to just scrap everything entirely and say "alright gang how about we run this shit back for another 10 years".

I feel like his passion for this game went out the window long time ago and he's just redoing stuff because he has no idea where the game was going. Family gotta eat somehow I guess. (except he's likely a multimillionaire atp so maybe he just like scamming ppl)

That year will be many many in the far future. The developer has stated since 2017 that they see this as having an open-end to it - they will keep tweaking, editing, revising, adding content as long as they continue to enjoy working on the VN and as long as fans continue to ask for more from the VN. Even stated last year that they have ideas to double or even triple the number of NPCs for Anon to interact with.

It's a Spaghetti Code in the old version. The Rework was needed.
But the execution of the Tech Update is bad. He should have hired two more guys to help with the Code so the Main Coder has less work during the Rework. But Dark Cookie didn't do it, so yeah, Rework was indeed necessary but the execution is ass.

and that person's argument is common enough that it is ridiculous. And that ridiculousness was what I was responding to.

The "stable" version is still the full version available from the developer for free. The "preview" version is just that... And is also available while they putz and futz around with it.

If a person wants "all" (almost) the content available - play v0.20.16. if a person wants to see what is being worked on... No matter how slow or whatever... They can play v21.0.0-wip.xxxx with much less content.

But all the content is stil out their to play, directly from the developer. So the "barely any content" whining is a nonstarter.

If you know the version number you are looking for, you can find just about any older version on the internet by using a web search engine like Google -- at least back to v0.15.0 (Apr 2018) or so. Hell, you don't even need to know the version number - just search older versions of Summertime Saga. Amazing what you can find find when you take 5 seconds and try.

i started playing this game 2016 and dont know on which version they changed her design ^^ i used older versions but she was already redesigned...
