It deserves so much more! I truly hope another studio picks up the torch and breathes new life into it. Maybe even Nutaku could be convinced to take the reins – I'm reaching out to them in hopes they see the potential.

Oh it’s going to be somewhat entertaining. The shitposting potential is off the charts, because as far as i understand it it’s going to be released piecemeal, and since it’s mainly reworked old stuff. So you’re going to watch starved animals chewing on the bones of their previous meals, desperately trying to find the tiniest piece of marrow to sustain them :BootyTime:.



In all seriousness though I imagine people who’ve been serious long time fans, unlike us onlookers, will be frustrated to navigate shit they’ve seen before albeit slightly different while being locked out from the other parts that aren’t ready yet. In truth I don’t think you should expect the thread to truly change for a long ass time. Assuming the tech update (almost sounds like a meme on its own at this point) finishes, then it will still be some time until people see significant amounts of new content. Even then it will take a while before the game finally becomes finished. No one knows what that even means at this point and the same goes for a time frame.

Well, decent 2D art is pretty much timeless and I'd say that SS will pass the test of time. Add, that SS's plot (apart from some meme characters) covers one of the most timeless genres too, as lewd highschool/college romance stuff will never ever be not popular, and you have very futureproof combination.

Sure, some people may outgrow lewd gaming in general, but I don't really see why people who discover the game down the line shouldn't like it.

I'd guess DC's final triumph will happen, once somebody who said that DC will never finish the game, catches his own 12 year old son many years down the line having a wank to this very game.

Are you aware that he is making game that didn't have any major update in 3 years and yet people are still throwing money at him? I don't mean to to shit on your cope post, but he already won. Big time too.

Also it's porn game, not generational legacy or work of art, it will come and go - like any popular entertiment does.

you'd think considering the amount they make they'd hire more programmers to help speed up the process. with how long its taking they could have trained new coders from scratch by now if they didnt want to pay for experienced ones

for SS abandoned tags doesn't mean much (if at all)
now a small game that got started on here, it means a lot
that's why there's either games that die within the 0.01 build or become slow when the game is big enough to where they don't need this site anymore.

I would say the game is good, the problem is that it's not done yet, and at the current rate it never will be.

MC only has one "sister", but she was changed into a "roommate" because of patreon's rules, so you'll need this mod to change it back.
