Maybe he's confused about the amount of content, compared to so many other games with version number 0.1/2/3/4/5/6?! And did read 0.1 as 1.0?Yeah, what kind of game isn't chock full of fucking in the 0.1 release?

So I have to ask, why all the fuss about the GF getting pregnant early on and being a "safe" day? There are literally hundreds of types of contraceptives out there. I don't really see the need to stress this or try to make this a point of drama. The only way I see this as a concern if it has some plot in the story later on. It feels very forced ATM though.

I don't like many things about this...
1. the step-sister seems bi-polar about her feelings to the MC and wanting to reconcile ( the fact she went with Brody to the restaurant is evidence 1)
2. I don't like the forced interactions with all girls, especially when MC has a girlfriend, and by the longass prolugue "insert name" is the default and canon LI. so regardless of how you play, you'll be a scumbug.
3) the choice of turning the hotel into a place for both sexes would be the smart choice buisness-wise, yet knowing MrDots, that could open the path to certain kinks (the same way letting Martin compliment Dee was), I'm ABSOLUTELY NOT KINKSHAMING but it would suck to stumble into unwanted territory because of something unrelated that seemed the best choice 10 updates ago.
4) Georgina's cameo.... I appreciate the fact all Dots games are set in the same universe, but having to chose Georgina's situation.... what for? that doesn't affect SL's story... Dots picking a canon route would have been better
5) the score system.... at times it gives points for something a girl can't know of (like when MC checks his step-sister's ass, unless she caught him, she shouldn't know he even did) or something ridiculous (like adressing the accident with Victoria, where the gentlemently thing would've bee to quickly apologise and move on)

So, i like the renders - although it would be really nice to see some different facial expressions used! (i get why he does this, it makes for a quick pipeline, but i swear all 3 games have only 4 or 5 fixed expressions that all the models use). The models are not overly doing anything for me at the moment but that may change (maybe i'm just jaded with the style?)
However, I really don't like the dialogue - it feels they're trying to make it all deep and complex but to me if you're going to try that it has to be written well - sorry, but in my opinion it isn't.
Some of the dialog is so stilted and artificial (and Melody was similar), others i was face-palming thinking WHAT? - why would anyone say that to someone you just met? And a lot of it is just plain boring - DMD was simple (at least at the start), Melody started the trend for endless dialog and I found myself skipping all the time towards the end. And now the new game, I'm already skipping dialog because it is so dull and its only the first release. I'm not looking for instant action - i liked the slow burn in DMD (though personally i think its time that game was just finished off TBH), but i feel this is just padded out with so much dialog it could be a much shorter game & not suffer at all.
Also not keen on the MC - he's acting like a dick (guess maybe deliberate at the moment?) - his sister's boyfriend comes back unexpectedly from away & he's pissed that she goes to see him. I mean, ok, maybe be a bit annoyed but he acts like a spoiled kid
And the text - personally I find it hard to read at times because there is no opaque background at all - and that doesn't help endear the writing to me!
I will persevere, but i really don't want to play a game i just skip all the text in - might as well just watch porn.

Honestly if you are looking for story then there are maybe 5 games I can think of that actually has good story. While I enjoyed Melody and DmD to some extent I wouldn't say any of MrDots Games have been amazing or even good stories... Just alright. You're not going to get Acting Lessons, Broken Dreamers, or DeLuca type writing out of his games. Shit even Estate: Dominate has better writing then this in the niche curtailed story written for a very specific fetish scenario setting it has. I don't know what it is, maybe he just lacks humor? Writing pose? But yeah, his writing doesn't absorb you into it which I think is vital when you don't have a good setting. I wonder why some of these devs don't just get someone to write for them when you can tell they haven't taken a creative writing class a day in their life. I'm pretty sure some people would even do it for free. Most people interested in writing take any practice as good practice tbh.

possible, dmd is set few years (~5) after melody and this happens some time (few years) after dmd.
