Yeah, that few years after melody is correct, but I don't think it's 5 years ... maybe 2-3 ... and SL could be also 2-3 years after DMD ... but still can be set during DMD, bcs DMD is still running ... and talking about Izzy, she could've been at late 20s or early 30s. So I don't think she would be 40+ here in SL ... but that's just my opinion ... only devs knows for sure ... time will tell, I think there will be some references on Melody, so we will find out more in future ...

Honestly if you are looking for story then there are maybe 5 games I can think of that actually has good story. While I enjoyed Melody and DmD to some extent I wouldn't say any of MrDots Games have been amazing or even good stories... Just alright. You're not going to get Acting Lessons, Broken Dreamers, or DeLuca type writing out of his games. Shit even Estate: Dominate has better writing then this in the niche curtailed story written for a very specific fetish scenario setting it has. I don't know what it is, maybe he just lacks humor? Writing pose? But yeah, his writing doesn't absorb you into it which I think is vital when you don't have a good setting. Probably why Being a Dik and Acting Lessons are so good.

I wonder why some of these devs don't just get someone to write for them when you can tell they haven't taken a creative writing class a day in their life. I'm pretty sure some people would even do it for free. Most people interested in writing take any practice as good practice tbh.

I'm not necessarily looking for a 'good' story - it can be basic / simplistic, but the problem i find here is that there is so much pointless text that I skip it. And then i probably do miss interesting / funny / ok bits. What i don't really like is games trying to represent a good story but failing at it. I think the dialog in this game just needs a good editor with a cutting knife.

imho all games by this dev are kinda overrated and overhyped for some fucking reason. the stories are duller than watching paint dry and the characters are so fucking shallow and stereotypical that they sometimes make me cringe. also the fucking sex scenes are also so mechanic and weird, I just don't find them that hot. I guess the renders are kinda nice to look at if you're into that kind of cartoony style... If you take out the incest from his first game, you are left with 0 interesting things in it.
if you want games that excel on more than one front try games that other have mentioned like: Unleashed, SWe1: The Warrior's Heart, both games by Oceanlab, Halfway House, Echoes of Lust, Leap of Faith, Jessica O'Neil, Estate: Dominate, both games by PhillyGames, The DeLuca Family, A Wife and Mother, The Intoxicating Flavor, Primal Instinct, both games by Dr PinkCake, Connected, Rebirth, Come Inside. And these are just the ones that come off the top of my head. I could probably go on for 5 more minutes to name games that are imo better than any of the games from MR D, or that at least have been made by someone that has actually been with a woman before. /flameover

I do wish that Mr. Dots would do something about the breast conforming clothing issue. I know this is a problem in Daz modeling, but for developers with Mr. Dots resources, he could take the time to post-process the images, or at least select clothing where it is less obvious. Having t-shirts and other tops stick to the skin like shrink-wrap breaks the immersion in my opinion. I can forgive this for small devs who don't have the time or expertise to fix this, but if one man devs like RomanHume can do it, I am sure Mr. Dots could hire someone with the skill to fix this.

Did you download the B-version? The fixed the "sex scenes went to black screen after one loop" issue for me.

Wow. That is truly awesome (and sad). I noticed a lot of repeat expressions, especially the sideways grin in all his games, but I didn't realize it was like that for all expressions. Maybe he/they need to come up with a couple of new ones for SL!
