At the end of CH1 the game should ask you to save... then start CH2 and you should be able to continue without a problem.

Me being a black sheep for other reasons, I reckon another is that don't even look at tags, just prefixes (I have to apply them to the mod's threads for example). If I had personally judged VN's by just their tags (which are apparently debatable since they are almost always discussed in every single VN thread) then half the the mods I have public would never exist tbh.

FYI: I'll take some time this morning to pre-code pending Chapter 3's import code so you folks have more than just the likely "manual" or "import" only choices. Pre-coding will save time to later verify what will be safe to alter and what won't be during a modified import. This will be to save effort of the Player, like path swapping (switch from one path to another but if they conflict normal playthrough then I'll disable the required paths, etc.)

It's never too soon to get ahead of another update since by then I'll likely be on Core v8 Alternative Reality (SanchoVerse) edition.

I'm thinking something similar to this (not final, just a draft):
