I tried both of your suggested methods, yet I still encounter the same issue tho, the issue starts the moment I click on the start button, when naming the characters.
Ahh the log flat out tells me...
In your main game directory do you have a folder and file like this structure:
SunSity-<version>-win/npc/clothe_decals_list.pkl
If you do not... do you have an antivirus removing that file? if you do, tell your antivirus to NOT check that folder... OR
Put that game NOT in your downloads folder, in another location, call it F95, tell your AV not to scan that folder. Drop that game there in that folder.

It finally worked! Thanks for suggesting to put the game in another location, it helped. Still don't understand why can't it be opened under the downloads folder tho.
Glad it worked, but yah any games that are ran from here are NEVER in my Downloads folder because that is the C: Drive. As best practices, any games or files downloaded from net, i store it in another drive or Partition just incase anything has possibility for corruption. C: Drive should only be OS partition, store all other stuff if given the space in another location if you can.
Ive got exactly the same error/ problem. game is NOT in downloads folder though.

Do the recommendations, redownload, stick it in another location, then unzip. After unzipping, check if that file exists. If that file does not exist, check your antivirus and unquarantine it. Then tell your antivirus to allow that folder.
Game play is great, and I don't really mind the grind - I just treat the game as not-a-harem-game and pick my battles.
But the animations or rather the lack of animations feels a bit meh. I'll keep checking back but I'm assuming actual animations are not on the to-do list. If they ever start adding them, then I'll pick it back up, if the animations are good, then I'll buy it where ever they decide to sell it.

The way you wrote it, it sounds like it's not worth playing without doing the quests.
The way you came off on my quote, sounds like you didnt try the game for yourself, and asking someone to play the game for you. Dude, just play the game and try it? If the options are there, they are part of the side quests. If you don't do the side quests, then yes, it's avoidable.
I'm not saying it's not worth playing, just alot of us gamers may not want to play it for you.

The dev didnt modify the files action.rpy and object.rpy, only really added more images to the bodies folder, which makes extracting hang for a bit, because he added more images instead of making it more efficient. He also extended more time for his new action events.
I negated the negative effect of his "69" action, so it won't cause a negative effect on love. (this was a new entry in my_calls).
Again for those that are new, look for my previous posts regarding these files, there are instructions, otherwise I'm repeating myself. For those who used my edits, you know what to do.

Okay, I guess I know who I have to ignore to avoid further responses... I'd rather not use the adjective I'm thinking of.
I'm not try to sound like a jerk, but i did give you a suggestion and an answer to the response, and you took it very offensively. Sorry if that happened. But now, your intentions is to gaslight.
I dont have a save from the previous version, however if you used my edits before they should work fine. If you haven't used my edits before, you need to start a new game. All the previous posts about the edits have instructions, if you haven't used the edits before, there are specific instructions how to use them. You will need to start a new game, but the grind will NOT exist anymore really from my edits.
However, since we have a whiner Yog above my post and wants to not play the game and find out.. Here is a save from my game. but keep in mind... i'm using my edited files, so you need the 3 edits listed above. and delete the corresponding rpyc files prior loading the game.
i know some people have too much time to play games, but goddamn this is a grind and a half. badly executed, unfortunate because the desgins are amazing, hot girls. also the game is laggy.

It seems like the game isn't worth it right now. I guess if the dev removes grinding and the fetishes I mentioned earlier can be avoided, I'll give it a try. Until then, I'll pass.

. Downloading issues? Look here.It is a grind and a half... i did add 3 files for the windows environment, which gets rid of the grind. It is badly executed, but worth trying to get all chars i guess if perfectionist. Just dont do the paywall of the fantasy characters, that's the only reason why the game is getting larger is the dev is adding skins on top of generic bodies with fantasy story lines. Other than that not bad.
Yog, ignored me apparently because they were upset about the quests being ignored to avoid fetishes. Tbh, the game can be played without the quests, they are not necessary, the dev just tries to hit the average kink of the player. Overall, game is fun to play with the grindless edits, but without the edits, boring clicker lol.

The problem with this game is that even with cheats, it's infinitely boring. What kind of immersiveness is there, what kind of gameplay? Don't be ridiculous. In this project, the gameplay turns into a kind of military service, hard labor, which is better not to mess with. Completely faceless characters that do not evoke the slightest empathy, and there is practically no plot. A sandbox for the sake of a sandbox? But on this site you can find dozens of sandboxes (I will not list them, since the mention of other games is prohibited) that can really captivate the player. But here you constantly ask yourself the question - do you need this pointless fuss?
