Kemonokun as Fox knows and followed the creator's updates - he had problems but will still move forward. Perhaps, in Fox's opinion, there is a lack of motivation, the YouTube channel has been deleted, which is unlikely to be created again, which also causes inconvenience since he made tutorials there, there was a long withdrawal from creativity even earlier, which also added problems. He does not try to lose spirit and in our reality not to abandon the project and focused on one or two projects (as Fox's knows, just have patience and wait).
I used to work in Youtube's content review and I can tell you first hand that if someone wants you off there, they will have you off regardless if you violate or not the policies on there. It just really depends how much their compliance team notices or cares to notice which is next to none.
Long story short he may have been a victim of someone wanting him off the platform just like that and no amount of appealing will get it back, which understandably can be very demotivating.

No need. If you have the latest version, you can just type "cum" while on the main menu to get a cheat menu to pop up that will unlock everything.
If the links in OP aren't updated or it goes a certain amount where no updated up until now are released, it automatically tags the thread as "Abandoned" despite otherwise. Can't say what of the two it is but it's not manually added.
