What is the EX stage?

You could just, ya know download the file and see for yourself.

It's just the shrift stage as far as I am aware. I played through the normal section and the extra stage again just to see if I saw any changes, as far as I'm aware, nothing.

If I had to guess, the dlsite version just hadn't gotten the shrift stage for some reason till recently. None of the other updates on dlsite mention anything about the Extra stage thus it's fair to assume this.
