I just went to his Patreon and he does mention this update and is supposed to fix some mouse issues etc in the game. So, kind of good news there.

Ahh I see the issue 0.52 isn't a new release persay its just hasn't been posted here. I just looked back through the past few months of posts and there was no mention of SC anywhere.

0.52 came out in June 17 a few days after the release we already had, sounds like a bug fix and the game is still very much abandoned
