The dev did mention that it was recommended, not needed and that old saves still work. Which should really be highlighted on the headline post of this thread instead of it giving the impression that a new save is required.

If people don't want to restart games when saves break then don't play games still in development.

Anything can happen to old code to break saves or a dev might need to change something.

If restarting is a deal breaker then wait until it's finished. There is only one thing that goes through my mind every time a game in development goes through something and saves break followed by people complaining. I can't say it because mods like me to be nice and I hate having my posts deleted and getting shouted at, they are so mean.....

Saves still work

There are some of us that don't think he did save her.

Running theory is he's like a battery that charges up the powers of those around him but he has no useful power of his own.

Apart from the superdick we've got so many updates in and he's displayed no actual power apart from night vision. He is, by far, the weakest member of the team and without the girls he'd be dead in a week.

so what you're saying is, he's basically the main character in Princess Connect? xD

Mostly just new environments and tweaks to old scenes?

EDIT: Aaaaaaand....to experience what little new content there is I gotta start from scratch? I don't....I can't...why? The redos for the other characters old scenes would just auto trigger.

Servers have been up for 3 days straight, it's only crossplay that's not working.

I'm stuck on Chrys event's progress. I haven't installed any mod on this game, so I'm not sure what could be the problem.
The last hint it gave me for her quest was to go to the local game shop, but I haven't been able to trigger that event.

Go to the garage several times, morning or afternoon.
Maybe go to the gym in the morning when Chrys is there and start training.

Mwahaha! Going down to the garage from the first floor did nothing at all, but going down there by using the elevator on the second floor triggered that event every fucking time.

This walkthrough is just to get people through the story and all characters, it doesn't search for hidden scenes or repeatable ones. First position is Morning, Second is Afternoon, Evening you can do whatever you want after the first night (mainly working out or studying, a handful of times will give you enough confidence you can skip them after), and Night is for sleeping. As an aside, Pass = Pass time (click double triangle at top of screen or nap), Skip day means sleep through the day, always use 2nd floor elevator. This is a very simple walkthrough.
