It isn't building up to a 1.0 like that. After 0.9 will be 0.10 and then 0.11 ect. When the game is done the numbering will change to 1.0.

Not sure how this story will go, but the discovery of superpowers really has to be just Act 1, so hopefully this is how the version numbers go and we get to a 3.0 or 4.0.
