Wow, what a detailed review of the current state of the game! Thank you so much for your kind words and constructive critique. You brought something up that I hadn't considered before - that the H-scenes may be too short to convey the intended amount of affection. I'll try and improve on that in future updates. Each new version I put out typically has a development goal in addition to content creation. In 0.35 it was the quantity of H-scenes, in 0.40 it was improving the overall lighting to make higher quality renders, and now in 0.45 is it the quality of those H-scenes: working harder during posing to make them more satisfying.
The H-scenes you stumble into around the academy are meant to be more of an achievement you earn as you progress your relationship. It answers a question that I often ask myself, "If they like each other so much, then why don't they just have sex?"
These out-of-the-blue scenes will be a minority going forward - in fact, I have none planned in the future versions. This is because, in the future, I want the majority of repeatable events to come from actual story progress to give them a bigger impact. If I understand your criticism correctly, some of the events in 0.45 might still be too quick, but I will try harder to address this issue.
In my mind, the best way to tackle the length of the H-scenes is to simply add more animations to them and make them into more of a story. The only problem there is development time - two animations for one character's scene means less animations for other characters. Version 0.45 is going to be a big character update - everyone gets new events, and I am head-butting my keyboard at a frantic rate to make that possible. As I become more familiar with the posing tools, maybe I would be able to churn them out faster? One can dream...
As to the erotic events that are part of the female character story lines, the ones you did with fluid animation are good, not quite as short as prior animations with the other women... And I saw your post that you plan to revisit those other types of animations and replace them, which is a brilliant idea... Not only will it improve their over all impact, but it will appear more consistent having one style of animation over many... Also, the length of the erotic/sexual events (in general) along with some occasional dialogue, and so forth, during those types of events adds more emotional value to them... You feel more immersed in the moment, and if your plan is some sort of romantic/lustful attachment, it would also play more into those types of emotions... That doesn't necessarily mean they all need to be these highly prolonged events, that is more something you leave to the encounters you REALLY want to emphasize... But the current lengths of the prior animated erotic encounters do feel rather short, with some being just a few clicks and they were done... Almost as though it was just some quick screw (etc) then they went about their business, without any real feeling or emotional impact stemming from the event itself and into the remainder of the story...
As to the short little side events, that occur here and there... It's really up to you, but adding some of those now and then as little side events actually adds some variety, like little surprises that sometimes just randomly come up as you navigate around here and there... Not necessarily tied into any of the regular story lines... It adds that little extra spark, that if they did not exist anymore, might make the game environment feel a bit more empty (outside of story related stuff)... You don't even need for there to be sexual content associated to them... Sort of like little occasional Easter eggs (just in plain sight for the random observer)... Like currently, when I would go into the kitchen, sometimes there would be a character there just to talk to briefly about whatever... But in any case, it's your puppy, and if you would rather focus on the main enchilada and skip the snacks, by all means keep cookin'...
Also, don't feel like your having to rush content out in quick fashion... Sometimes going to fast, especially as story lines become more complex and interwoven, can lead to continuity issues or forgetting something or less focus on quality... It's a balancing act, but for me I always like quality over quantity... And don't forget to take breaks now and then, to help keep the stress levels at bay, and the mind fresh... Sometimes it can feel like fans are in a rush to see your latest and greatest, and that is just how it works when you have fans... But don't let their boldness and/or desire for more more more, make you feel unduly pressured... If they are true fans, they will stick with you if the content exceeds expectations more so then just being spoon fed to them sloppily in quick succession...
Best of luck on your project...
