Where can i tap
To get out of the room? It isn't very intuitive, but if you put your mouse near the bottom of the screen, a rectangle will light up. Click on that to leave the room. Many of the rooms are the same way, although the break room is different-the door there is in the back ground to the right of the fridge.

Story: Ok
Renders: Ok
Animations: Ok
Gamplay: GRIND! Spend about 3 Hours to get a Blowjob an some Boobies. Not worth it.

If the Dev wants to keep the Sandbox he should at least implement a "FastTravell" with Buttons for the Rooms. And show wich Girl is in a specific Room.
Right now: Superheroes Suck sucks!

I'm not hating on the dev, but I'm hating on the grind. I really hope the dev would rethink their approach in the future versions.

Grinding in adult games is mostly pointless because the only purpose it serves is to artificially prolong the game. Think about it this way, let's say you're eating a three course meal where you're served soup, then steak, then cake. That's fine. But now you're eating fifteen course meal, except the first five meals are just soup soup soup soup soup, then the next five are steak steak steak steak steak, and the last five are cake, cake, cake, cake, cake. That's not better than the three course meal despite being more food.

Progress needs to be meaningful and done in a better way than repetitive grind. This game has a good concept and a somewhat interesting story (from what it's shown so far at least), but the gameplay element is severely lacking as it drags the rest of the game down.

A smack bang in the middle 2.5-star for now.

Only one thing to say so far and that's, I wish the MC had been greeted with jubjub at the academy.

Edit: Okay after playing awhile I have a few more thoughts. Foremost it's rare in these kind of games but I'd be happy with Chrys alone as she's wonderful.
In regards to the game overall it feels really barren at the moment and finding encounters is trial and error, perhaps a minimap with the girls portraits as an icon to show where they are would be handy; in addendum Riley shows up in both the kitchen and library on Wednesday mornings.

Hello everyone, I am the developer to Superheroes Suck.

Before I start with what will likely be a mountain of apologies for the current state of the game, I want to thank those that pointed out typos and bugs - when I got home from my shift last night I addressed all of them as best as I could and then promptly passed out. I'm better rested now and will do my best to answer some of the reoccurring questions.

I actually wasn't intending on uploading the game to F95zone until Version 0.45. I didn't even realize it was posted here until last night around midnight when I noticed a strange uptick in my patron count without any new reddit messages. The major reason is this: the main story is not in the game yet. Every week, on Sunday, the protagonist should be attending lectures in the classroom. These lectures progress the story, show off some of the character dynamics, make Missus Powell a more visible character, give hints on how to pursue the main story, unlock content, and improve the general pacing of the game. The main story is what I'm working on currently for Version 0.40.

I'm sorry for the choppiness of the first "animations" in the game. I actually started this project back in February of 2019. At the time, my graphics card was very poor. A simple, three second loop took approximately forty hours to render, while also making my computer unusable. I do have a full time job, which meant that I could either do one render a week or create story events - I couldn't do both. The dissolve transitions were a compromise. Maybe a single image with a text write-up would have been better, I'm not sure. This is also why the Academy looks very plain. I had a somewhat more robust looking model for it earlier on, but each render of the background took two hours - my card couldn't handle light sources through windows very well, or multiple light sources in general. It was so bad I ended up scrapping the first four months of work. In the end, I downloaded a simple room creator tool and made the environments myself. They're not the prettiest, but at the time they allowed me to produce a lot more content.

This game is very grindy, and I apologize for that as well. I've tried to mitigate that somewhat by making save-game compatibility between versions a priority, but the initial grind has several factors contributing to it. The most glaring one to me is that the "evening" time slot is actually a filler. Those are the night renders - the evening is supposed to be brighter and more accessible like the afternoon time slot, but I don't have the characters that would occupy that time slot finished yet. Really, the best use of time for the evenings is to train up your confidence. Speaking of which, the confidence grind will improve drastically once the main story is properly underway. The patrol missions you go on, and several choices that you make, will boost it.

The initial encounters in the Academy are very trial and error. This period is intentional, but is supposed to be much shorter. The girl's routines do normalize over the time, but without the future content I intend on adding, I know it can be frustrating to navigate. Once again, this is my bad. I'll try fixing some of these issues relatively soon.

Missus Powell will be a romantic interest, but much closer to the game's completion. There will be other, more mature looking characters added to the cast, but Queen Unbreakable herself will take a while.

The evening bathroom scene with Chrys is more of a teaser. You can peek on the other girls because they've never felt the need to lock the door while taking a shower - it can be heard from the outside, and none of the others have the inclination to spy inside. Chrys is the only one that always locks the door, and there is a reason for it that will be covered further on in her story.

The choices in the game all do have an effect, but none of them cause an alternating branch at the moment. Each decision either helps flesh out the protagonist, increases your relationship with one of the characters, and sometimes changes the outcome of a scene. I can't spend as much time as I would like developing the game, otherwise branching pathways would be more common. As it stands, I am aiming for multiple endings, but that is so far in the future that giving out details on it would just be me plucking ideas out of the air.

The Academy is supposed to be more of a "hub" area. There is a linear story which should be the meat of the game. I focused on the character stories first because of hardware limitations. This is why the game has such a weird drop in quality once you arrive. I purchased a new graphics card a few months ago, and it has been a lifesaver. With it, I added real animations to the game and redid the Introduction. So, it goes from a new introduction with a new graphics card, into old content with a bad graphics card, and finally into new content with the new graphics card. You can see this with the number of environments present - the new Introduction has you traveling to quite a few new places, or at least in one place with multiple camera angles, and you only really see that with the girls later on when we enter the shōnen dating arc. This is also why the characters look different the further you progress: I familiarized myself with a lot of the tools that I didn't know how to use when I started out.

There are blowjobs in the game. The first one isn't properly animated, but the rest are.

The protagonist's massive endowment is part of the story (I know how this sounds, I'm sorry), as well as practical. It is much easier for me to pose because I can better select the segments.

Riley appearing in multiple places has been fixed, but if you are eligible to trigger an event, it will happen regardless of where any character's schedule puts them. This is to help cut down on the waiting. If you need to train with Riley, you know more or less that she is only around in the mornings and usually in the gym or kitchen. Therefore, you can just show up to either of those areas in the morning slot and trigger the event instead of waiting on a specific day.

I don't know what a Jubjub is, but Google tells me it's a type of bird which can't be what you mean.

The requirements to trigger the final stage of Valentina's bathroom scene is: your fitness must be greater than three, and you must have progressed her story enough to have completed her fifth event. That's the one where she quizzes you.

If you have done both of those, then I'm not sure why it wouldn't work, but you're not the only person to report this to me. It fires just fine from my end, even on a new save. I'll tinker with it make sure it's fixed before the next release.

Just to make sure I'm correct about the error, when is she supposed to be in the bathroom?

I am unsure if the answers throughout the game split your path, or they are just at that specific time. I think I went down each path to check while using rollback. There may still be more I missed.

It is my fault it is here, I had a game which I couldn't identify and nothing really came up, finally found out it wasn't from here and mentioned it in request. My bad.

The school being as is, I liked the story you made for why it looks shitty. I still wish there were paintings, posters, info stuff added to the walls to make it feel less like that.

The animations are more complaints about later being better while earlier seem to be inconsistent.

For grind, you can slightly cut it down by doing 2 things, have a player learn likely schedules, and then place where they might be with an icon. This makes if the player forgot the normal schedule of wed afternoon in library with Harper, it would show her there. However this also would cover when she likely showers, or Chrys in the kitchen, etc.

This covers 2 things but also opens up some. first it has the player look around for a week or so to figure schedules and questionables. Example when you have low stats you aren't sure who is in a shower, but you know someone is there, but you are definitely sure you can train with a person at noon. It also allows you to subvert expectations by having other people appear in places the player thinks should be something else, or if nothing is at the appointed time and place, they look around.

I like the car and it's name, but the ending ia of artemisia makes it a mouthful to pronounce. Especially if the superhero is in trouble.

I get it's a story plot thing, which MC states he should say something and never does past that point. Your game doesn't have the worst massive endowment, just it has become a thing in adult games to copy porn, where everyone can make a horse look down in shame of feeling inadequate.

The multiple places wasn't really about events, just that you go to one place and can talk to them, they say hey, you go to another and they are there also to talk to and do nothing. Like Riley being in the kitchen and library at the same time. This does also happen with the other girls, can't remember specifics off the top of my head.

I would also say work on keeping things consistent like Chrys having her model flipped. Unless that is something story connected.

All in all it is a decent start. It does need work on UI, Traversal, etc. However for a first off it has okayish animations and different story, with semi plausible story building. Easily better than most games first at bat.

I would however suggest play some of the really good VNs and some games with Sandboxes to try and find a better way you can do stuff so players don't dislike it for the wrong reasons.

Don't apologize for requesting the game be uploaded. At the end of the day, my releases are all free, and I knew it would make its way over here sooner or later. The fault is mine for it not being properly prepared. I just saw posts in the beginning confused over why it was already in version 0.35, and the missing content, and I tried to explain both situations quite clumsily. Then again, on a project like this, you always feel like you need more time. Maybe it arriving now is for the best. I am always requesting feedback on my Patreon, so it's nice to have an added source.

I would love to go back and redo the Academy now that I have a machine that can handle it, but a full overhaul would be impossible without redoing the events - something that could take several months. I might be able to add a few more decorations here and there, as well as tweak the lighting. That would be around the time I fill out the evening time slot, though, so in the future.

Redoing the old animations is definitely on the to do list - but the time it would take to change them competes with the time I have to make new content. I'll try and tackle at least one every other release.

Chrys' hair being flipped is actually kind of funny to me. What happened there wasn't an issue with the render, I just literally flipped the image in my photo editor to save having to re-render that car. Every angle of that car used to take almost two hours - without the character in it! The new graphics card makes that a non-issue, so it shouldn't happen again.

I think along with Riley, the other girl that appeared in two places was Valentina? I got a bug report from my patrons and fixed that a few days ago.

I am planning on adding onto the UI elements once the game is in a better state content-wise.

Damn. I'm not sure what broke the trigger, but I will definitely have it fixed before the next release. Thank you for the bug report.
The problem is in navigation.rpy, line 731.
