what is that story exactly, the snarky guy said there's no war (or action), the game said MC doesn't have superpower in a superpower AVN and you said there's no point in wooing as all girls eventually fall far you, what does this game offer? I want a genuine answer please. I genuinely want to know why this game have so many 4 star+ review, cus its certainly not for the NSFW content
Well, the easiest answer for why the game has so many 4-star reviews is that people tend to like it. Why that is can only be conjecture, but if I were to hazard a guess, I would say because it tickles their pickle. It does lean more toward the emotional relationship that the characters build rather than the sexual content. What I like about it is how it reduces the life of a superpowered hero to the routine and the mundane. Being a superhero isn't the call of a grand destiny, but rather just a job that you can choose to do. It has classes, licenses, responsibilities, bureaucracy, public relations, and learning how to be a superhero is kind of a drag. It makes it a distinct thing from other games that feature a superhero academy.
To be honest, I almost quit the game in the beginning as well. I didn't like the beginning of the game asking me stupid questions like if I smoke or like Anime and shit like that. The revamp could have cut all of that and we would be better for it. But I think that it grew on me when the portion at the academy started. I became intrigued about the small cast of characters that was introduced in the classroom. I was also hooked by the mystery of what his powers were, although for me it didn't take long to figure it out. In my opinion, the story didn't really pick up until the first patrol. The characters seem really passive when they are hanging around the academy. It is only when they venture out into the world that you get the sense that things are really happening.
