Nyx monster isn't that special ella had some of them running around but Nyx power mutated into something much more powerful and in that way sure you could say her power is on a higher hierarchy but that doesn't change that she herself isn't at the top as she simply doesn't have the output she is an artificial level 5.So yeah her power is a pretty cool hax but that doesn't mean it's something which can't be defeated as we already know if someone weaker uses their power on someone a lot stronger the powers clash and the stronger person will resist.This is how it happens in jake 's case obviously nyx is so much stronger than that bum but her opponents like the apostles will be too strong for her and likely resist her hax via sheer power difference.Also whatever the fuck WW says shouldn't be taken seriously the man has said it many times he lies a lot of times when he answers something.

Just a little remark - I find it funny that Nyx' mark, the "reward" and "great boon" for any and all superhumans to save them from the death, saved MC from exactly fuck none of the possible deaths from that point onward. So either WW forgot abut that, or it's hardcoded to be used in specific plot point in the future. Or, it's not automatic and the body of the superhuman needs to be brought to Nyx for resurrecting, in which case it's literally useless for MC - if he's dead, then pretty much nothing of him is left to be shoveled back to her.
Yeah I think she's shown to need proximity to resurrect people, and in most of the ways we can die, there ain't no way your body is getting back to her.
There's also the fact that MC's death might lead to his body evaporating the same way parts of it do when separated from the main body for too long, so it might only work if used practically instantly.

Nyx can't save you if there is no body to save mc's body is made to stone and then broken by that snake monster so yeah no chance other time we are cooked in the monster world so yeah again nothing to save.

In the scene where he gets the mark it flashes and then disappears. She herself wasn't sure if it even stuck. It probably didn't, MC's body ate it or some shit.

Nyx's mark only works if there is a body to begin with, and Nyx also needing to actually be there to revive someone.

But I'd guess she skews more towards Darkness, considering the anti-magic properties of her powers and having a natural connection to the Dream World with her little river Nyx of souls.

where the question of what the origins of Nyx's powers are was asked, and frankly what was said doesn't at all support the idea that she has any connection to an Arbiter. When asked if her powers came from an Apostle, an S rank monster or a weak monster, WeirdWorld simply confirms Nyx didn't get her powers from an Apostle, and beyond that to speculate on it ourselves. I can definitely see why some would latch onto that interpretation, considering how busted Nyx's powers are. But with Ella being able to identify what monster turned Nyx with the eyes she earned by completing a Rite, and the fact that it seems dual traits are a hard requirement for stuff like Soul, I heavily doubt it myself.She probably does have some mixed lineage of Light and Darkness in her though.
