I read it similarly. That the lightning "weakness" is actually a strength for Syla. One she never learned to make proper use of, but not intrinsically harmful to her. But then her son inherited that ability, and he doesn't just have psychic powers. The MC has Body as well, so the surge of energy from absorbing electricity turns into explosive growth when he does it. That suggests that maybe the solution to his problems isn't to tame the electricity running through him, but to redirect it. Send it to the other side of his powers, so he gets the energy boost on the part that won't make him explode.

Maybe it can go even beyond that, since the first time it happened the effect of eletricity on Mc seems to consistently be that it makes his flesh "grow without control", which means that his shapeshifting is being used, to activate transformations Mc has to use monster power, but it was never stated that Mc is using his power to transform when hit be eletricity, in fact it seems he has to do the opposite, use power to STOP his body from growing.
If this is the case then Mc is able to absorb eletricity and convert it into monster power, like Syla who used eletricity to make her ability stronger, the flesh exploding might be just consequence of lack of control, but maybe Mc can actually empower both body and memory powers like that.

I see it as a twofold problem. Part of it is that he has no control over the surge of energy. Part of it is that he has much more dangerous powers to run out of control than Syla had. Well, dangerous to the user at least, I can imagine it being unsafe to be around Syla when she overflowed with excess Memory energy. If the MC could redirect the energy to his Memory powers instead of his Body ones, he'd be able to more easily learn to get it under control, since he wouldn't be exploding constantly during the training.

A more lore heavy update than the last but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It was pretty slow up until the end of the first round of side events but after that the pace got better and the episode ended with a bang.

I must say, when that random monster said Syla's name and called her boss i thought we were about to witness the lore drop of a century, just for her to immediately say "your mom owns me money, pay me" i couldn't stop laughing .

The tendrils were the humans of this world's last resort against the monsters (if I understood correctly), basically using their own essence to make this "shield". And it wasn't really money, at least not in this case. Lethe just wanted his memories in return for information, like she did with Syla.

this game is really good man, calling it just a porn game is more of an insult to this hidden gem.

if you downloaded this game for the porn, don't worry, there's plenty of it, but the story of this game is just as good, and it's not just limited to porn.

it's a decent piece of cosmic horror, maybe not as good as the greats, but it has its level of that's good

This would be an awesome fight, especially because I think Val is supposed to be about the same level as Syla and Indra in terms of strength. It's hard to tell how Val compares as he is both wounded severely, and it's hard to say exactly how his power would match up against theirs. Though I'd imagine that while slow, his antimatter could likely even deal with Indra's strongest lightning attacks.

Of course, we'd have to get an ability or abilities even more broken than everything that Syla had if we want to be able to even survive. It'd be an awe inspiring fight though, and it could even be like the Deryl and MC fight against Cole. Both putting forth their best efforts, Val blocking to keep us from exploding, us acting as a decoy to let Val connect some of his strongest attacks. In the end, we barely win, or even only force him to retreat with Val sacrificing himself to protect us so that we can become strong enough to beat Indra at a later time. Val seeing Syla in the Other World one last time before allowing himself to pass on. It'd be an amazing fight no matter how it ended up, though I imagine it would have to end with Val dying no matter how else the battle goes, because H.E.R.O. wouldn't generally let monsters roam free.

Another fight I'm really excited for would be Bernhardt vs Indra. The strongest traditional superhuman (because we don't know how Henri's powers really work) vs the (probably) strongest non god monster would be a fight for the ages. It would probably be the only way for H.E.R.O. to find out the real strength of Indra. Hell, Malik might not even be able to fight alongside Bernhardt due to the potential difference in power between the two.
