Jess can be what the Twins used to be. Non-super powered person that allows the MC to relate to the common folk, yet still has enough connections (through MC and Jake) to be relevant to the story.
Was just about to say that. Hopefully she gets more content, and does not get turned into a superhuman.

My dude trolling hard. You got every single word wrong.
Nah, He does raise good points. Let's face it, Liz only showed interest in the mc, after he became superhuman. It's insulting.

Amber? She was with Deryl, a bully who was fucking around on her. The guy is trash, She remained with him, despite his cheating, despite him beating up weaker kids(wanna bet the mc was not the only one?).
Only after he hit her sister by mistake does she call him out on it.

Liz is a willing slut who more than likely has a body count in the hundreds (nothing wrong with that, it just shows she is not girlfriend material), Amber is a hypocrite.

Alice is... meh in my opinion? Far better that Liz and Amber though.

Oh shit, was this all in the latest update? Memory of the latest update is pretty hazy rn.

But Alice can shoot up to second for me then behind Liz. Mainly cause it makes even more sense for her to be with Micheal after the revelation. And it doesn't feel as personal to the MC as Liz's story did. Her relationship hinged on you having superpowers. Liz's depended on you being hard-working and motivated.

Above Ella cause her relationship is kinda in a limbo rn.
Actually I think it has been quite some time ago, after Mc is allowed to leave the HERO base for the first time if I'm not mistaken, Alice invites Mc to finish off the last group who rebelled against the Alderman, then she takes Mc to a lake (I think her family used to visit the place) and explains what happened with her parents. It's even the trigger for their relationship in the game (you can reject her), so I can't honestly think of a better moment to pinpoint where she truly fell for Mc.
Thus my reason to believe that helping her was not the defining factor.
Edit: Actually it was after the Jake fight but before joining HERO, thanks DrakoGhoul.

Why is it insulting to someone to only show interest when they become someone worth being interested in?
Let's face it, MC before he gets his powers is nothing. He's unmotivated to do anything, he's short, he's ugly, he's weak, and there's no real positive features that stand out aside from his tenacity (shown with Deryl during their feud), although that could be construed negatively as stubbornness.
MC after he gets his powers is confident, decisive, motivated, tall, hunky, strong, etc. Some of those traits are superficial, but some aren't.
Also, it's explicit that the reason she turned down the MC the first time he asked is because he's unmotivated.

Liz is a willing slut who more than likely has a body count in the hundreds (nothing wrong with that, it just shows she is not girlfriend material), Amber is a hypocrite.
I would argue the past only matters to inform the present. Liz isn't a "willing slut" because she loves having sex so much she can't control herself, she just feels empty. It's made clear that she's only going to have sex with the MC if they get together, because she no longer feels empty.

It happens after the Jake fight before MC joins HERO. Alice takes MC to the Lake. That's the moment when she truly loves the MC. Never gave my view on the recent whole best girl thing, but it's clearly Alice and always will be. She's the most natural and developed compared to the others. She also doesn't need to rely on something like a childhood friend angle like the twins.

Oh yeah, my memory was a little fuzzy on the exact moment, I was only sure that it was after the Jake fight since she uses the graviton bomb.

You can focus on it as much or as little as you want. You don't have to around every scene going "hey these guys are together btw" just focusing three or four lines of dialogue on it in key moments would be fine i think.
I would help her out if she was single to a deadbeat. I'd try everything i have to get her out of the harem and then i'd kill myself if I failed probably. But the argument isn't "there are worse things" its just "Harems are terrible".

I think I admitted above somewhere that the latest events with Alice does change my mind on her. But before that it literally was "just saving her".

The reason i did'nt pass of Liz is because no one else makes sense with her (I guess the NTR route lol). If you give me someone i'll happily add it to the list. Everyone else is just kinda irrelevant side characters. Im not saying MC should be with no one, just that the side characters should get with someone else if you don't pursue the relationship.

Only reason "harems" exist is because of lack of womens rights and because the male is rich to the point he can afford multiple wives. In all of these cases he women don't love the guy (except maybe the main chick). They're just there because of the money and protection he gives. I don't believe a natural harem has ever existed. I choose to believe the super powers actually play a minimal part in why the characters like you.

No one said they were real. Im just giving my opinion on what would make these characters more compelling as it does break my immersion. Again, sometimes it feels like world is warping in on itself to make every mordern woman in a first world country okay with you sleeping around while simultanously having the men either be ultra virgins or asexual.
You claim to want compelling stories but would be ok with lip service relationships, that's contradictory.

You would support your daughter if she was left a single mother but would kill yourself, abandoning all your loved one's if she was happy in a harem.

Women are attracted to powerful men who can provide, if there was one game where it makes the least amount of sense to complain about the idea of a harem, it's this one, I would have agreed that's stupid in a game with a noodle armed 5 foot boy with no skills and no money, but even if I agreed it was stupid, I wouldn't agree it was bad. Wanting to sleep with multiple women at the same time is a common fantasy and much like incest, fiction can iron out the potential issues.

If you have fantasies about the female characters getting with other men, then wait for ntr sub routes or write your own fanfiction because most people don't share your desire.

It would obviously be ontop plopping the love interest in place of whatever romance scenes MC would've gotten.

Yes I would try to get her out first and then kms if i failed lol. Would you be okay if your daughter got married to a rich guy with 9 other wives?

These are all women of the first world with their own powers. No one in real life is looking to get with a guy in like six other somehow actual loving relationships. They'll fuck for the clout or looks but not actual relationship. Also it is kinda funny you're saying the only reason you get the girl is because you have powers lol. Speaking some truth to the other guy botching about how all the women are shallow eh?

You'd wonder why no one is attracted to any of the other incredibly powerful heros either. Incest doesn't usually have to warp the writing and the characters this much.

I mean if you're the type of guy to instantly become an incel once you see two friends getting in a relationship and think power and status is the only way to get a girl then I'd see how unfathomable it may be for you to think it may make more narrative sense for characters to actually end up withother single people with actual history built up.
There's enough NTR with Liz. I'm actually looking for a happy end for this story lol. Implementing more would actually be too much writing and effort put into something for minimal rewards.

Am I the only one who thinks it will be hilarious to see how the inexperienced Mc will handle managing his relationships when they get back to earth and have a moment to breath?
I mean he'd probably be able to clone himself eventually so everyone gets a MC to hang out with ala Naruto in the Boruto show but not fuck things up.

I like emily's development a lot has a rough family background similar to mcs (dysfunctional family/dad) is very weak mentally at the start but thanks to MC encouraging her she does get stronger enough to stick it with the red haired cheerleader girl whos name I forgot and other stuff. Something about her development is nice to see I think if MC didnt have powers I would have liked him to turn out similar to her mentally strong to back talk and stick it to people who mess with him and other shit tbf he was always very mentally strong even if he wasnt physically strong. (Fighting deryl when they were kids etc)

Also liked it in a weird sense how she was unsure of her feelings with MC when they were checking the school out
Emily forever!

Yeah she's initially very reluctant cause she doesn't think she'll have the time to work on the relationship. But not only is that never actually a factor afterwords, it's just kinda basic romance stuff. To me it's all just extra details to obscure the basic formula of "you help her, she falls in love".
Maybe we'll get something more with the mom storyline but nothing so far actually made me invested in the love aspect between the Mc and Alice. (Not just Alice, I feel the same way about literally everyone besides Liz and Ella)
I mean get why people like it. People who identify with the MC would probably want to be in a regular relationship as opposed to wild ones like Liz and Ella. But I'm all about the wild romantic gestures, twists and turns etc.
I'd prolly want a relationship with emily cuz my beloved...

Yeah I like it a lot too. Especially the similarity yet difference between them. Like you said they shair a lot but she contrary to the MC he has a dream, she is motivated wheras mc wasn't and she was lacking tenacity/assertiveness wheras MC clearly wasn't (Deryl flashbacks).
I think the class his father signed him up for (combat class) or whatever could've filled in that "physical gap" he had. Ofc he'd always be a little disadvanted against some ppl but I think he could've turned out great.
The only thing is, idk where he'd have found the motivation, the main and 1st thing that motivated im when becomig a superhuman was survival. Then you can choose what drives you but the initial motivation is survival.
