A big part of that probably has to do with them spending literal decades at lower levels. As blatantly stated in game and displayed by tree guy, even at level 3 you can have power comparable to that of a level 5, given you spend enough time and effort.

Level 4 would only be more impressive in that regard. And since those three are built different in general, it's very plausible that when the trio were level 4, the rest of the captains were 3 or lower, and so gained less power than the trio over time. That makes even more sense when you consider that the evolution serum didn't exist back then.

Also, by the three I mean Bernhart and Malik, since Henri evolved straight to level 5 lmao

It is precisely not why they are stronger.
1. It was never stated how much time the trio has spent at lower lvl except Henri, and judging by the fact that Bernie and Malik evolved to lvl 5 not long after Henri, I doubt they had spent decades at their lower lvl.
2. Henri's whole point is that they are just different than the others, so if the trio at lvl4 is stronger than Kira and Ilijah just because they have been a SH much longer and have more time to accumulate power which is sth any SH can do given the same amount of time, then there's nothing "different" about them. If that's the case, Henri wouldn't even make the comparison at all. In context, the comparison only makes sense when it's comparing apple to apple, as in even as a lv4(who had been a SH roughly as long as Kira and Illijah) Bernie was still much stronger than them, and that's why they are built different.

It might be that evolutions can't happen truly simultaneously, and are instead queued one after another and start after the previous ends. His four might've just lasted four nights. It is a stretch, but according to everything else we know, he should've gone to level 5 all at once. Or maybe that line is outdated.

As for twin traits, Ella makes it clear that MC having both Memory and Body from the start is unique, so it's safe to assume there's some way to gain the twin trait of your apostle trait after being infected. Maybe a ritual of some sort, or maybe it happens naturally at evolution. Maybe, it's a combination of both.

In fact, that might've been what was happening to Ella in her middle school when the fourth took over her to kill everyone. Since the third and fourth wanted her to become the vessel of evolution, they needed her to have both traits, and since her compatibility with Memory was lacking, they needed to fix that and make her a proper inheritor of Memory too.

A similar thing might have been necessary for Jake to inherit Order (though I doubt Authority would initiate it) since not only does he not possess dual traits, but having two random parents that are 100% compatible with the apostles of the same twin pair is ludicrously lucky.

Nothing suggests he evolved simultaneously instead of consecutively unless you count the "Henri is a chimera" theory which is pure speculation.

That's fair, but the MC has been Level 3 for a considerable stretch of time at this point. Even longer, if you consider that in universe the monster world arc has gone on for around six months.

I wondered about the goo as well but saw someone mention the combo of the 4th's blood and Ella going out of her way to eat the minds of the students was supposed to awaken more 4th traits in Ella and make her the perfectly balanced heir to body/mind. However, that seemed to have been a failure.

Another, less sophisticated, answer for the goo is explained by Ella at some point "A possible way to evolve is by absorbing monster blood, with blood from the monster that turned you working extra well".

As to how she got the goo, she seems to be working directly with the 3rd/4th, so maybe they just gave her some? The avatar bodies left behind after the apostle returns to the higher realm could also be a source.

I'm like 95% sure Tanos is talking about Henri as the chimeric twin 4% Deus 1% some random we haven't met yet. The only thing that gives me pause on it being Henri is when Tanos says "you wouldn't be able to tell from looking at him, but truly, he was one of the most remarkable specimens I'd ever seen." Henri is many things but normal looking isn't one of them. Deus on the other hand gets mistaken for a regular human by the eye so he fits that little description better and theres clearly something unique about Deus too... but thats about as far as it goes. Nothing else about him makes sense for it so Henri still seems like a much better match, especially since it gives us the best explanation so far for how he got to level 5 so quick if his evolutions double. Tanos also describes the twin as a "Superhuman unlike any other" which fits much better with Henri too since Deus has Zack as someone like him (on the surface anyway) Tanos probably just meant you can't tell he's a chimeric twin by looking at him, which you can't, but god knows how you would tell that anyway lol

My longshot prediction is that it's actually Lucius and that nearly everyone else in H.E.R.O merely thinks he's being egotistic when he carries out long conversations with himself.

Nay. I expect Alice to evolve next update, and the MC also evolving would take away from her moment. He'd be hitting level 4, she'd be hitting level 3, he'd just overshadow her too much in terms of power. It would make anything she did fresh off the evolution seem less impressive. Maybe it could work if they were in separate fights like when they both evolved at the Battle of Diamonds, but since they're in the same one, I'd give the scene to Alice. She just lost her closest friend and has a monster with a vendetta attacking her, this is a good time for her to get to power up and kick ass.

At best, the MC might evolve next update in a later scene after this fight with Daione Danu is resolved. Probably not in combat, going straight to another big fight would just feel tedious. Some sort of emotional revelation that pushes him to evolve from mental stress, maybe? But then again, reliving his mother's death didn't do that, so I don't know what could do it now. So yeah, I'm just going to say he won't evolve next update.

That's also fair. Tbh, a lot of characters are being set up for an evolution atm, so I kinda have the feeling that everything is gonna happen all at once. Michael is going through rituals, Alice has been set-up to deal with the portal, Amber and Liz have been worrying over their evolution, Deryl has been manufacturing his own chimeric alternative to evolution, and the MC has been due to evolve for a hot minute.

Hey there. Game is fantastic. I'm just past day 100 and i have the best time ! But i was wondering if the dev was planing to upgrade/rework the convo's arts of the OG characters ? Compared to all the more recently characters introduced (where i'm currently in the game) with newer better looking arts (and how good the "scenes arts" looks too now) they really start to stand out quite a bit and to look well...not that good. It's not the end of the world but it kinda feels bad you know, especially given how much the artist have improved since, knowing it could be so much better

Teoretically WW (the Dev) is planning on updating the art once he reaches the 1.0 so in about two updates or slighty more.

It's the general understanding, don't really know if it'll happen and if it'll happen right when that version comes out or if it's supposed to be "after" the 1.0. Though rest assured that the intent is there.
