Small question, do side character stories have a time limit? I just got to Ella's orphanage in the slums, and I've noticed I stopped getting Liz and Amber's options during my daily "what should MC do" bits. I think right before the beach party was the last time I saw those. Am I just stuck not being able to finish those in this run?

As far as I know, no. You can do all of them; some of them, however, take a while to activate.
For example: for Liz, I'll assume you helped her, probably got to the point where MC saved her and she discovered his Hero identity. After that, it takes a while for her path to continue, so don't worry. Amber, if I remember correctly, is moved to the afternoon or has a short cooldown as well.
But in the end, you will be able to do all of them (you get a message letting you know about it, just don't go to the mall until you do everything), so don't worry.

It was actually cool. Suicide Wang was great. Turning the tables on the angry chick guard was great. De-dicking the Alpha leader and watching him breakdown was great. MC just delving into experimenting on humans was a surprise, but hey, if you gonna do it, do it with evil prisoners, I suppose.
I got all the way to the end of the Jake/Deryl/MC three-way fight now. That shit was fun, too. I didn't expect Jake's arc to suddenly escalate that quickly that fast. I thought he'd be in the background preparing and keikakuing while we do other stuff, and then later we'd knock some sense into him. Half-and-half on whether I want to save Deryl or put him down, but I chose the former for now.

You can usually only buy two or one item when it appears at the merchant. That's why I recommend buying the power and skill items.

That line of Ella's got me thinking, when discussing who the MC lost their virginity too, Ella says "maybe next time round" not this line is almost certainly just a 4th wall break, but if not, on that slim chance its not, it could mean at some point the MC goes into the past.
At the moment the MC is very weak in comparison with the big threats, time travel is a thing, so what the MC is flung back into the past, a one shot last ditch effort by Zack so he can get ready, he would disguise himself and interact with an earlier Ella.

I don't think Zack can do that, though. Deus maybe, he's been shown going back in time, but Zack's abilities don't seem to actually interfere with time as much as "perceive" it. If he could do that, even just for himself, H.E.R.O. could've used him as an information carrier to drastically accelerate their projects. They'd probably have made the level 5 serum ages ago.

I would like to see the MC ride along on one of Zack's time loops. Connect their minds with Memory Link, so that Zack's mental time travel sends back the MC's memories of what happened in the future as well as Zack's. It would be a really strong combo of their powers, Zack getting an assistant that he doesn't need to bring up to speed every time he loops and the MC getting the chance to practice and experiment without consequences. So it probably won't ever happen, because it would be too OP and make it difficult to write around. Still would be neat, though.
