Played some more after a little break. This infiltration mission to the SIN ceremony was pretty cool. Loved the time loop gimmick when you hit a Dead End. Got me wondering about whatever it was that ended up wiping his power so much that he couldn't do anything for so long. He must have been resetting loops a shit ton to get the win.

Shame we had to leave Met and Rina behind. I liked them. Guess they're gonna be enemies under the mind-control now. Feh. FEH, I SAY.

Never got that choice. I told them the ceremony was mind control shit and revealed myself to them. And they're all "we'll stand with you when you refuse the mark and vow". But then we go back in, get separated when I get taken to Langdon and then Nico pops in to get us out. And we just leave them behind.

you should read the walkthrough pdf on the OP, it explains how to navigate the Sin infiltration, whilst gaining the most money for your information and keeping your suspicion score low enough to tell Met and Rina to refuse the mark and leave.

EDIT: Well, nevermind all that. It worked out on my corruption save. Watched the ceremony, all three refused, Elly tried to eat us, then they skiddaddled while Nico ported MC out. I guess because I had seen nearly everything of my good boy run, I didn't screw around as much on my corrupt save.

You lose one at first, but you gain it back later. To do so, when Alice asks why you REALLY saved her, you have to say it was because she was useful. Any other option will make you lose more points.

Man, some interesting things going on. MC is definitely some kinda superhuman hybrid or monster hybrid. I can't tell if the latter part of Sylla's bedtime story was about a transformed-human regaining their (her) sanity through love or the formless creature gaining their sanity through love. And I guess that means Ella was one, too? Since she and MC were part of a group of which they were the last two.

Speaking of, did not expect the Ella story to take that turn. I thought maybe we were either gonna see a true resurrection or Ella possessing one of the kids. That was her back-up plan. The doll is neat. And I guess she is doing some "have to burn the world so it can rise from the ashes" shit? I wonder how badly my good boy run fucked future events by turning on her. I'm playing my canon MC as hating Ella.

So I'm still in the middle of MC doing dream training with dream-Sylla. And I haven't brought my corrupt run where I won't turn on Ella up to speed yet.

But.

MC ran immediately to Malik to turn her over, only doll-Ella had skiddaddled before he got to Malik. Malik puts the headquarters on alert, and thats the end of that. She just popped up again, looking around the SIN base and finding her one-eyed monster friend in the pocket dimension(or whatever this other hellscape land is).

Thats it, so far.

TANGENT: I'm at dream-Sylla bringing MC into the other world, and holy shit those landscape renders are beautiful. I wonder if Weird World studied creative writing at all, 'cause he's got a great way with words, describing what MC sees. Great moment.
