I just realized I never put this here. Even though I posted it weeks ago in off topic. Might as well blow my load. I believe that Black Mouth is likely the Chosen of 1st that was speaking from the cupcake lore. He also mentions that Aglaecwif is an "old friend" when speaking with SIN on Mars, which I think connects to the cupcake as him being alive still and just as old. That would also mean Black Mouth has a minimum of three Chosen kills. As the cupcake mentions him making Body (3rd), Dark (7th) and Destruction (11th) "bleed". We know for sure, via the changing heart, that the 1st Chosen did indeed kill the 3rd Chosen. Who claimed to be the strongest Chosen of his cycle. So that means Black Mouth also went on to kill the previous 7th Chosen (Beatrice?) and the 11th Chosen. That also means that somehow the Authority trait surpasses the Dark trait. Though, he could've used an army of Body aligned monster proxy or even the 3rd Chosen to wear them down and then kill them. Which could also play a part in Valravn killing the 3rd Chosen.

There's also another thing this update. It's that the previous Chosen of 1st went around targeting those of Body and Memory specifically. Forcing them to submit or killing them if they fought back. Meaning, if Black Mouth is indeed the previous Chosen from the cupcake, his Chosen kill count could actually be above 3. At least, he was probably sniping Body Chosen. Memory got Syla at some point and she's way older than Valravn. So 4th spawns weren't getting made or killed as often. Meanwhile, it seems like the 3rd goes through Chosen a lot. In game, he has the current highest amount of known Chosen. That being 3. They each got killed too. One by the 1st Chosen. The other by Valravn. The recent one by Nyx. And there's really no telling how many Chosen came between when the 1st Chosen killed that one and Valravn killed the other.

If it's indeed true that the 1st Chosen, or Black Mouth in this case killed the previous 7th Chosen. That means Valravn likely went after the 1st Chosen for his very first chosen kill after killing the 3rd and 5th Chosen, or before since he killed the 5th Chosen when Ella was alive. The thing about this though. He failed? Or Black Mouth managed to set up a way to persist even in death. Likely via proxies and the immaterial world, if I had to guess. Also Indra likely killed the 11th Chosen and 8th Chosen before Syla (4th). Reason being that I don't think Chosen from the same twin apostles typically try to kill each other and they seem to target their "distant" cousins more. Even in the cupcake lore, the previous 1st Chosen uplifted the 2nd Apostle in his anti Body and Memory propaganda. So Indra likely didn't go after the 1st Chosen and Valravn likely didn't go after the 8th Chosen. Even though he could. Funny thing about Valravn is, if what I said is true. He only targeted the first six apostle chosen. 1st, 3rd and 5th.

Also, that scene where Memory and Body jumped Authority makes much more sense now in this context lol. Since killing Jake probably triggered the 1st and they wanted to make MC submit to stroke their ego. With both Apostle jumping the 1st instead. Their sibling rivalry is crazy. I don't think any other Apostles beef that much beyond the 7th. Though, I question the 2nd just chilling and watching his twin get jumped. Casually acting like it has nothing to do with him. That's also likely why Black Mouth is eager to get Ella back alive too. Probably so he can use her as his proxy beyond just having her complete her plan.

By the way, the above is only a theory, at the moment. A lot of connecting of dots. I'm not saying Black Mouth is for sure the 1st Chosen from the cupcake. Or that the 1st Chosen actually killed any Chosen beyond the 3rd Chosen of the past. I do think that Valravn might've targeted the 3rd Chosen and the 1st Chosen because of the previous 7th Chosen though. Who possibly might've been Beatrice. The 1st Chosen sort of alludes to killing the 7th Chosen after all. For all we know though, the 3rd Chosen could've been the one fighting the 7th Chosen and they weakened themselves enough for the 1st Chosen to swoop in and kill both. Kind of like how Valravn nearly killing Ella, but he was weakened a lot from losing his heart. In which case, another Chosen could've came and killed both of them. Funny how it could damn near be identical.
Okay, please refresh my memory: Cupcake?

Considering how WW laments not giving proper set up for Eisheth before the twin arc, I can totally buy the idea that those scenes were meant to foreshadow Black Mouth. I could believe that Black Mouth is the original Chosen of Authority, like how Algaecwif is the first and only Chosen of Fantasy. Would lend itself pretty well to the theory that Black Mouth was resurrected and is currently inhabiting the Immaterial World.

2nd probably said "Damn, if he won he must be stronger. 1st should pick stronger spawn lmao."

Does anyone know what the Dream Stone does when you buy it from the merchant? In the latest update, I didn't have enough money and couldn't buy it. Is it important?

Nice game with unique drawing & ideas <3
Is it normal that it's gonna stuck at ending 50? (where the game is still in development?

Is there any game like Superhuman? I am not a vanilla kind guy, so lewd wise, I am here for the gender bender scenes of this game (normally I would go the NTR and NTS route with Liz, but I like the characters too much to let her be raped). But to be real, I am here for the story and for the amazing lore.

Is there any game with a vibe similar to this one?

No, if you read what Death says “be careful with what you eat” she’s giving you a hint about what you did wrong, which is literally eating Yuren’s followers. There are two of them you have the option to kill, just don’t kill both, and you’ll be able to get past her.

Hero Party Must Fall is the game I always recommend when people ask. You've got gender bender in there too (but it takes a while), but it's also got incredible writing and character depth far beyond 90% of the games on this site. But it gets really really fucked up.

Yeah, although be prepared, it's quite buggy too. You'll probably have to get the URM or use a save editor to play around with the variables a bit. sometimes the scenes don't play properly for some reason.

1. Parasite black (Man get infested with an otherworld parasite that make him stronger, now he decide how to use it to protect his people, also, it is planned that one of the powers will be gender bender).

2. Cataclyzm (A Man that want to become an famous adventurer for glory, fame, riches and getting laid, with evil and good routes and an mysterious past that make him ¨special¨, for example, his red eyes).

3. The last sovereign (THE masterpiece of the RPGMs where you control a man infected with an shard of an Incubus King, he is like an anti-hero that decide the fate of many and make a huge harem).

These are the games that i know of, unfortunately, there are not many storys of cool anti-heros that face hard choices without being cringe or stupidly edgy.

SUPERHUMAN REVIEW

Final Score: 4/5

TL; DR

A 5 star game with an extremely oppressive and restrictive early game segment. If you can get past that, it's one of the greatest AVNs I've ever played.

THE BAD

Some people will lambast the game's less than stellar artwork. My tolerance for bad art is pretty high, so this was never a major concern for me, but I can understand how this can be a major obstacle for others. Luckily, Weird plans on reworking this come version 1.0, so we'll see.

My other concern, which I do share, is how stringent the game's early days are. In the first 34 or so days it is extremely easy to lock yourself out of routes, lose power/skill points, or stumble onto a dead end. I'm fine with not getting the best power/skill points, because I love figuring out how to min max encounters. I'm fine with dead ends, because I'm already saving a whole lot. But I'm not fine with the really restrictive timings for routes. If I don't want to be on the Emily route, for instance, then I should be given the choice. I don't like having to be on Emily event 6 or whatever before Day 20 in order to be on Emily's route going forward. That's not fun for me or for new players, and removing the reliance on using a walkthrough in order to see all of the LIs is something WeirdWorld should strive to achieve in v1.0 as well.

THE OKAY

Sometimes the game suffers from weird pacing issues, especially in the Monster World arc. MC being an idiot is fine, but sometimes it stretches disbelief. I personally enjoy how the characters are pretty cryptic, but sometimes it feels like they're just doing it for the sake of it. And it feels rough how half of the cast stop being relevant starting with the HERO arc, but I have hopes they'll be reintroduced more consistently going forward.

THE GOOD

I really fucking love minmaxing. I like saving at every choice and redoing entire arcs just to get 2 more power points. I've replayed the whole chunk from Tiffany's choice all the way to the most recent update at least ten times all on it's own because I wanted one or two more power points and a sliver more money.

The writing, while not perfect, is easily passable for what it needs to be, and each decision feels weighty and real. I love rereading into the itty details and trying to predict what we know about the world and it's lore and where future arcs will take us. This is a game I can see going on for a long while yet, and there's so many things I want to see happen before we finally close the doors on things. I am personally of the opinion that we are only just about halfway done with the game, since I expect the MC to spend a significant chunk of time at each evolution stage.

I love the LIs, I think they are all beautiful and feel like real characters. I want to see them more and more with each update, even if it means dragging them into MC's horrible reality. Even the non LIs are just incredible to see, characters like Deus, Bernhardt, Clark, Deryl, etc, are all a treat.

CONCLUSION

I love Superhuman. It's such a good game that I've fully replayed it about seven or eight times now, not counting reloading from earlier saves to better optimize points. It's got a couple of big noticeable flaws, especially in the early game, but outside of those it is a really fun experience. If v1.0 comes along and fixes these things, it's an easy 5 stars.
