I named him Dark, you know, because he's dark. Also, my other option for Beelzebub, since he's the Demon of Gluttony, and well, in MC, he can eat humans and monsters. My hunger for power is also there.

No, if you read what Death says “be careful with what you eat” she’s giving you a hint about what you did wrong, which is literally eating Yuren’s followers. There are two of them you have the option to kill, just don’t kill both, and you’ll be able to get past her.

See if these two games work for you: one with corruption and one without. You also have to understand that I didn't kill multiple people and I didn't do gender-swap scenes, since I don't like them.

I chose a name I heard from The Lord of the Rings lore, back in ancient times, Sauron pretended to be someone good and gave out gifts. He called himself "Annatar", so now it feels natural for me to use that as the MC’s hero name, hahaha.

I did a fresh replay from scratch recently, helped fresh out old lore and reexamine it with all the news stuff.
On the topic of art, keep in mind the first days still use the original sprites, but the art does get progressively better as it progresses (I may be wrong and the old sprites may have been phased out more since last update though...). Story is 10/10 all through the game and now some early scenes have new quirks with the latest lore that we know.

Actually, I wouldn't recommend you start it in this update. The next one will be the v1.0 with improvements and changes in the game.
