From reading the wiki the school massacre seem to have been both to trigger her 3rd evolution while also being "a step on her Path to Ascension" which she failed due to not killing Christie. Doll Ella said during the monster world arc that she received her eyes "after passing a certain trial", so assuming the wiki is correct and doll Ella wasn't lying it's likely that the eyes were from a separate trial.
I'm split whether to put the eye trial before or after the massacre though since the 4th basically considered her a failure but "still good for breeding". It would be odd to keep giving ascension trials to a failure, although the eyes do help tremendously in making more superhumans which is a type of breeding.

How do you know evolving wasn't also part of her goal? After the part that you quoted, she takes out the vial and drinks half of it instead of just killing Christie. Evolving right there before looking for the last offering of the ritual. Even going as far as to say she finally achieved her 3rd evolution at last. If her goal was only the eyes and nothing else, she would've just killed everyone while she was in her little trance. Before taking out the vial and drinking it.

It's also not like she can't have more than one goal in doing something. If anything, evolving is the best time to try to gain new things. Especially in what is to be believed as a Memory type ability. Since when Superhumans evolve, their connection to the higher plane is opened so that they can receive knowledge and power. This includes mutations as well.

It can be any of the reasons. Because like WW said. Failing a trial doesn't mean you can't ever attempt it again. Ella doing a ritual might make the circumstances much different. Or maybe Ella did get a flawed version of the eyes. From what I remember, she didn't seem to think it was possible for Amber and Liz to be turned by monsters that are clearly no different from other monsters out there. In terms of them being still made up of Apostle lines.

Wow I'm a bit lost, where was it hinted that the Second wants a worthy opponent ? I mean I remember Michael saying in his dream sequence that his goal is to prepare to face his Apostle, but where was it stated that the Second's goal is a 1v1 ?

It seems the Second, just like most of the rest just want to goad their spawn to reach higher heights, but where was it stated that the Second's goal is to actualy fight it's spawn himself ?
I mean it seems like the kind of goal you'd have a Baki or Dragonball character come up with, rather than a Apostle, idk, it would be a bit dissapointing to me if that was revealed to be it's goal.

Though also kinda funny I guess, imagining all other Apostles gunning for their spawn to reach Chosen level, and propegate their own supremacy over other Chosen, and meanwhile the Second just wants to fight it's own Spawn, like a cosmic scale Yujiro or some shit.

It's from that line mainly that I get such impression, the way is worded, plus Michael's own personality, there is no way he's aiming for just end up being a Chosen, besides when he hits his Third Evo, he talks to Power in a way that make it look like a challenge, rather than just, 'Sorry, I'm not up for your expectations Papa', if that make sense.

But yeah, would be a bit funny if Power is really a sort of Cosmic God Yujiro, would make sense though(I think), he's already very 'human' in the way he put feats above plain compatibility at the moment of ascend someone, unlike it's siblings

To be fair the moon twins were kidnapped by Eisheth somewhere after the Battle of Diamonds and they had a chained double evolution and got to evo3 in one month, if the wiki is correct at least. With their shared energy pool, extreme growth, short time as superhuman and a literal cult worshipping them it's no wonder they got cocky and neglected training their skill.

Maybe? The MC ran away from home after the Indrah fight, was gone for a month, then came back and finished out his school. Next year he switches schools to the one Deryl and the twins go to; this has to be the same time that Ella and Christie start attending the high school where Emily and Jess will end up going. Assuming the MCs school and Ella/Christie's school share a calendar, then Ella probably hadn't massacred everyone and hit level 3 when the MC was staying at her homeless camp.

Syla's the one suppressing most of the MCs memories, so maybe it was her ghost that kept the memories of the homeless camp secret. It could also be the Eye, it moves into the MC and screws with his memories after the Indrah fight. But my theory is that the guy in charge of the homeless camp did it. In the recovered memories Ella is being looked after by a guy called Rufus, he's part of the same group being tested on by Tanos. In the recovered memories Ella is being looked after by a guy called Rufus, he's part of the same group being tested on by Tanos. The MC mentions that it was the camp leader that convinced him to return home. I think it was that guy Rufus.

According to the wiki Rufus was a guy from the group of homeless people Ella joined when she ran away from home. He may have taken part in the same trial as Ella at Tanos clinic which makes it at least possible that he became a superhuman, but it doesn't seem likely or he would probably have been kept at Tanos clinic like Ella.

We had faster updates before then it switched to three months. I think it's in the sweet spot given that they are at least 6h+ updates.

The updates take longer because WW spends a third of the time working on v1.0. This is because v1.0 will be an absolutely fuckhuge update, that he has gone on record saying it will take six, maybe seven months to complete once he starts working on it full time.

As for AI, he only does it for shading and lighting. For characters, he traces custom 3d models. He said it gets the job done faster, but ultimately makes him a worse artist.

That would be hype as hell, but I feel like where we are now, Cole and the rest aren’t the main enemies. I want to say Endra, since that would let the MC overcome his lightning weakness and evolve at the same time, but I can’t see him winning even with a fourth evolution. So maybe it’ll be an S-class monster instead.

So you want MC to beat 2 level 2's, 2 level 4's...? Solo... would that even be fun? I am all for a Power Fantasy, but this would not make any sense or even be interesting. I was just sharing my autistic idea, even tho it sucks. I mean Im not defending what I said but it could work if its done properly I guess? I did go overboard with adding Shen or Cole to the mix maybe? But yeah MC does have twin apostle traits so that makes him unique I guess? Maybe having twin apostle traits inside a single superhuman gives them an edge that pure or mixed trait apostles dont have? Like how many superhumans or monsters are out their who have 50-50 of twin apostles? Surely theres a reason most apostles dont fuck with that idea for some reason, even though the 3rd and 4th did.

Every fellow whos a candidate for twin apostle powers like Lochan for Time + Space (Infinity), Henry for Truth + Fantasy (Paradox) etc, are all weird and how their powers work, what they do, what even is going on with them is a complete mystery. We cant figure out whether or not MC will develop some 'Evolution' powers, whatever that is, when he reaches lv 4 or 5, cause we dont know how Deus and Henrys powers work and whether they are just super strong and weird superhumans who are combining their two twin traits like the MC is, or they truly have the power of the arbiters. Speaking of the arbiters themselves, what I think is the arbiters before the outer twins nation attacked were like proper gods/deities, none of this monster, colonization, superhuman, evolution type shit. All 6 of em were omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, you know like our own religious gods and their job was to maintain the universe and keep it working or something. I think Evolutions job or whatever was to uplift sapient species, creating a proper evolution path for them, so that they can go from ooga booga primitives to advanced civilizations and societies and then get extinct if they are unlucky or something. Well you know as they say, sapient species like the Human Beings are basically the eyes of the Universe, whose existence serves as observers, a mean for the universe to perceive itself or themselves, if arbiters basically made up the entirety of the universe, and didnt live seperately like the current apostles do now via the upper realm. I suggest everyone to look up Monolith from Space Odyssey.
