Fabulous update! I thought the idea of hacking the portals and sending the captains to destroy the invasion worlds was brilliant.

I also liked the information about Tanos’s three spheres of research. The second one, a world of antimatter and opposing energy, where creation is reflected as destruction, and vice versa, is especially fascinating. And the third, the Sphere of Fantasy I believe the “dream world” is located there, right? Though probably not just that one. According to Aglaecwif, those from the Memory type have less influence there than beings of Fantasy type.

Actually, it made me imagine she might have an insanely overpowered ability, kind of like Obito from Naruto: she could make her body intangible by existing within the Sphere of Fantasy, while her body in the standard sphere would remain practically untouchable. That would make her pretty broken, but that’s just my thought.

About Nico’s scene, WW’s erotic artwork has improved a lot, the angles he used were excellent, and I liked the sound effects too.

As for Zack, did anyone else notice the red lightning? The theory is that he was being controlled by Black Mouth, but at least, I saw it.

Lastly, did anyone else miss him? I think he’s going to shine in the next update.

it was actually surprising to see the non-shittyness from Evanders reasoning on joining sin: he just doesn't want to fall into the trap of fighting with monsters forever like HERO and would rather approach monsters the way SIN does by developing relationships with them and even believes one day they could be used to defend humanity. of course this is bullshit and SIN are run by evil people with the majority of their members either being people forced to work there people like cole and jared who are jackasses people like shen who don't give a shit about humanity and ruthlessly kill them all the time and of course monsters like Valravn and Eiseth are truly monstrous in demeanor despite their human-esque way of thinking with them both targeting children specifically.

The Last Update was very Location Heavy. We did the Cult Investigation, and now it seems like we're moving onto Indra x Zack Location. I doubt the ACTUAL Fight between the MC and Indra will happen, but I would be surprised if we didn't see snippets of Lore surrounding him, or at the very least, more H.E.R.O. Cast perhaps dispatched to that Location, where a Captain failed/went MIA.

Might make a H.E.R.O. H.Q Pitstop first tho.

74 - Alistar our Supreme Leader does indeed Show up, several times in fact. I always like seeing the Political cunts squirm. Didn't think he'd show given trh World State, thought they'd focus in the griddy, more personal details.

This is a bit of a crazy idea, but: I think we're going with something GUT. Grand Unified Theory, the idea that the electromagnetic, weak nuclear, and strong nuclear forces are all just split-up pieces of a single primordial super-force. In GUT models, monopoles are topological defects, pieces of the early universe and its weird physical conditions that got "frozen" due to local space-time not allowing them a configuration to decay into. Now, imagine that in the world of Superhuman, where the weird physical conditions of the early universe aren't just "a single gauge interaction" but "God is a physical entity". I mean, creating the modern universe by splitting up something primordial sure sounds like what we know of the Outer Twins and Arbiters and all that. That would fit into Tanos' research, why he was looking for monopoles in the first place. A monopole, in Superhuman's context, might just be a piece of God.

I don't know if someone replied already to you or not (it doesn't seems so to me...) but piecing together all the Thanos logs which happens right before the Monopole reveal, how Thanos says it's mainly a deterrent, how it's encased in a protective field, and how he said constantly to Jared that he hopes he can "wield his arrow" heh... my guess it's:


A fucking mass-destruction weapon. Either an "arrow" that can breach the 1st-2nd spheres, ensure complete obliteration inside a certain radius (or hey, maybe it's planetary scale or bigger!), or the arrow itself is made of/contains antimatter from the 2nd sphere. If Jared were to absorb it, it could be safely stored, moved, and deployed even with the bonus of Jared being a pussy in terms of power/evolution level but hosting something truly dangerous HERO would hardly pick up on until it's too late.
Also, I could easily see the deterrent not being "The Berhant arrow annihilator!" but rather something that could wipe out humankind lesser superhumans from Earth, ensuring its extinction regardless of if HERO member can tank the damage or not, hence another reason for a Mars base that can also move around.
