I'm confused. I catched up on the game two weeks ago, and the it ended right after the fight with Father Yuren (just after the dialogue with Clark). Now there's a new update but the game still ends at that same point. What am I missing?

So, as an European (really, anyone outside of the US), could you explain if it's in Stone, Pounds, Ounces, Drain, Quarter or Drachm? Wikipédia says that Stone is generally used for weight, but that would mean 3175kg, and if he can do that, he can probably punch his way through most monsters

Unrelated, regarding Cole. Do you believe that Tanos lobotomized him, or that he just mattured (also, that without his anger toward MC, we have no real reason to go after him, as the reason MC hated him has been proven to be due to Tanos)

I think it's definitely neurological. Cole doesn't seem like he's matured, he seems like he's brain damaged. He's got no desires, no strong emotions, and is just going along with whatever he's told to do. If that's not due to Tanos messing with his brain, the only other explanation I can think of is that it's our fault. We did give him a lot of head trauma. But it's probably Tanos.

I can think of one reason why we'd have to fight Cole in a rematch, though: Zara forcing the issue. She wants the angry, emotional Cole back. She might tell him to accompany her and start a fight with the MC, so that Cole gets involved. Confront him with the guy he hated so much, in an attempt to shock Cole back to normal.

Unsure about Superhuman, but for game like this, I would recommend to save before the 'that's all for this update', otherwise, you might accidentally jump to the end of the new build (or accidentally used the old one)

MC is gaining a lot of knowledge with the eye whispering things to him. In the scene with Alexis, he knew how to solve her problem with the iron coming out of her body. So, yes, MC can probably gain the knowledge to "fix" Cole. It's probably a choice whether you want to make it or not.

Initial art is an acquired taste, if you don't like the later art as shown in the thumbnails well nothing to be done about it.

Yes the story is very good, it's a well done super powered origin story, I don't want to say hero, he can be a hero, but the MC also has the choice to make some very morally questionable decisions.

From my own taste and what I understand of most people playing this game. After the first half of the game you stop thinking this is a porn game and treat it like a saga you have to finish/minmax. I am a fan of the art/story/characters. You might not. But there is very little about that game that doesn't warrant a 2nd playthrough.

Most likely at least some level of lobotomy.
I remember he was scared after the fight with MC when Tanos was telling Briar and Zara to bring him to his lab.
People do change, but someone like Cole changing this drastically and the hints that he was very Scared of Tanos indicate that it was some version of lobotomy.

I feel like as someone else pointed out, Nico will get incapacitated next update stranding Bernhardt and Malik into deep space.
However, this might be a set-up to eventually bring Alice back in the story and play a pivotal role bringing the stranded Captains back.
So Alice will likely take Nico's place in some way shape or form.

I think that's also the reason why Nico specifically said this update that, all she does is use Hexenriges to teleport, so teleportation isn't necessarily happening with her body.
So that means anybody that can control a Hex can do teleportation, maybe not as well as Nico, but well enough to teleport at least.
And we know Aos also has one Hex with him as well.
So, we can assume that maybe during Alice's Monster World search for Michael, she'll also take control of a special Hex that'll let her travel the cosmos similar to Nico.
And then after she comes back, she will control the special Hex that Bernhardt used to reach Malik, maybe with Clark's power as well (similar to the Diamond Battle arc).

I thought this was an interesting angle to look from, what do you guys think?

I don't know what's worse. The yearning an update is close or the craving for more after finishing the latest update.

I've waited for a monster strong enough to shrug off Nico's Sun-teleport attack, It always seemed like such an obvious limitation of her power and now the Fenrir finally did it. Though here I was more concerned about the giant Ice monster fucking up the Sun rather than it launching itself back to Earth, so it could be worse I guess.

Unrelated but considering what happened in the dead end in the monster city where Bernhardt arrives, it would seem that a HERO victory was/is either a guarantee or that neither SIN or the invasion have any response to deal with Bernhardt. It's likely MCs involvement will alter the outcome but how or why remains to be seen. At the very least Malik and Bernhardt fighting and killing/winning/surviving The Wasting Mother and returning to their elimination of monster worlds is all but a guarantee.
Also I imagine the ones Malik was desperately looking for on that dead monster world was MC and his team. He probably felt responsible since they were just about to launch a rescue when the eclipse started. It still doesn't explain who he was talking to though (unless it was some sort of remote communication with HERO) or how/why he went missing.

Fucking Cole. I kind of feel sorry for him, Tanos seems to have shut down his emotions or something. When we saw him last update I thought he had just gotten depressed or learned to chill but no. Cole isn't even Cole anymore. Also for some reason Zara blames MC for this, probably due to Tanos blaming MC for whatever procedure he was "forced" to do to "fix" Cole.

A question for those that killed Jake: In the HERO HQ simulation fight this update, who replaces Jake if he is dead?

If Alice returns that would either mean she found Michael or was forced to Earth. If the latter she probably wouldn't be able to use a Hexenringe. Either way I doubt the Captains would let her live since she has monsterified and Lucius at least seemed to have a zero tolerance policy judging from when he saw Aos.
If the former it's highly likely she will tame a Hexenringe since even Aos uses one and she is supposed to take his position, though if it will be a special one is questionable.
Nico is effectively incapacitated right now since she has to wait and regain her energy, but considering Tanos/SIN now has the HERO HQ layout it is possible they could also interrupt her and prevent her from bringing the Captains back. I seriously doubt Alice could stand in for her even with a boost from Clarke, unless Alice has a hugely more energy efficient way of utilizing the Hexenringe. Unless she has effectively become a S rank monster at least.

It has it's moments and the writing throws in some curveballs but it's definitely not for everyone. I had a couple sections where I'm still not sure what decides success or failure.

Power and previous choices you make are a big factor, like train too much and you die early in the game.

I think it's plausible. If Nico does go down, H.E.R.O. will need someone to take over teleportation duties eventually, if for no other reason than that it's going to be really hard to get a strike team to S.I.N.'s base on Mars otherwise. Alice could fill that role. And having her take over teleportation has the benefit that she's not strong enough to get to Malik and Bernhardt yet, but could be eventually. Meaning that they could be brought back for the endgame, but we'd have a decent span of time when they're out of the plot and the stakes of the conflict are higher. Hell, we'd have some time just waiting for her to get back to Earth, she's going to be hunting for Michael for a while still.

I know some people don't like the idea of MC being tight with H.E.R.O(though i don't share that sentiment) but i hope WW really delves into that plot, Henri and MC as Captain and lieutenant would be interesting to read, their small time together climbing the Tower of Dreamworld showcase some proper chemistry between the two.
