I think it's supposed to be multiplying the superhuman's power before evolution by about 3, rather than a flat increase according to the evo. MC at evo 2 had give or take 30 power, and at evo 3 around 300. The gain in 2000 is more gameplay than in universe I think, because it could break calculations for power checks later on.
That being said, Cole's power at level 3 being multiplied by 3 would be about 2700, creating a much more substantial gap between his actual strength as a level 4 and the supposed "normal increase", which makes the description saying his power is notably higher than it should've been a bit more logical, though 200 power is a pretty decent increase regardless.

That makes more sense since the 20/200/2000 we have is based on Mc's progression, in this case a 400+ increase from a more normal 2700 to an improved 3100 IS more substancial.
Though i still think that Mc can make up for this amount easily, if his power increase since lvl 3 is already on the hundreds i imagine we will be able to surpass Cole in power even with his advantage in time.
While I do agree the difference is not that substantial, the large increase in MC's power as a level 3 is probably that big mostly because MC never trained Memory beforehand. The benefits he would otherwise have gotten would have been similar to training Body, if not slightly worse since he has a slightly weaker affinity for it.

During the spying on S.I.N as Nathan we met the memory fox, a clear kin of ours from grandma 4th. it spoke to us with total respect and saw us as an hair, it showed the harsh life for monsters in their world and how much it wanted to live. We know the MC has the potential to be a chosen like Ella and that tittle has the right to lead monsters, if the MC does ascend to a chosen I'd like to see the option to unify the monstrous kin of our lines bring to them better living conditions. Plus with powerful and loyal monsters with us, it would me closer to beating the life out of Indra.

Strange. I mean Cole was a Super Human far longer than MC and he did not slack in his training and yet jut 15 skill...
During our fight he used his power very well and even was able to quickly adapt to his 4-th evolution and new skill set
