Still, that would make Aglaecwif underwhelming as a character if she's just dealt with like that and the story moves on. That doesn’t feel right.

So for me it’s one hundred percent Aglaecwif’s power. The only thing I really want explained is the voices.

Oh, I don't think Malik killed her or anything similar, even if he is actually on space right now after their encounter, I'm almost sure Aglaecwif is on the same tier of danger than Indra and a full power Valravn, she wouldn't be killed off screen, in fact, seeing how mentally unstable Malik is, since he apparently still hold human values and moralities(which given the lvl of corruption he must have, is probably nightmare) I've been thinking that he might flip sides, like, Aglaecwif is a Monster, as bad Dexter and Bramon are, she's straight up a Monster, but, at the same time, she does genuinely love her Children, and is certainly a manipulation master aside her Fantasy Trait, she might be able to swing Malik to her side, someone with beliefs so extreme and a high regard for family dynamics, that would bring into play a third party(since Glae clearly isn't that loyal to the Apostles) with actual power, could even be a way to take Bernhardt out of the Story while reserving a Full Incarnated Apostle to Henri, an hypothetical traitor Malik with Aglaecwif as support could probably be enough to kill Bernhardt, or hold him indefinitely on a fight, making things more bleak to everyone else on Earth.

Doesn't Agleacwif directly refer to "the sacrifice" Malik's brothers and sisters had to make? The way he flips off immediately after she mentions it makes me think this "sacrifice" had something to do with his lvl 5 ascension. Maybe his trial for natural lvl 5 was to kill his former comrades? It would make sense that it would permanently haunt a guy like Malik. The line comes after Agleacwif mentions Hell being a thing too. Did Malik literally send his former friends to Hell? That would be even worse.

Agree, Aglaecwif is insanely powerful. Like, even though Malik’s a beast, he kinda lost some cred after trying to torch Ella and nothing happened. But Aglaecwif? She’s one of the oldest monsters out there, probably millions of years old. Can you imagine the kind of mastery she’s got over her fantasy powers? Honestly, I can’t even picture her losing, no way.

I don't think Malik would have betrayed anyone. That requires too much forethought, the hints of darkness in Malik have all been about impulse and aggression. So I don't think he would have sacrificed his friends, but I could see him having done something that they had to sacrifice themselves to stop. He goes in too aggressive, provokes something too strong for him to handle at that point in his evolution, and the rest of his team winds up spending their lives to defeat it. So he'd feel guilt over their sacrifice, but it would also have been a sufficiently unexpected thing that he'd have lingering questions of why it happened. Agalecwif wasn't just playing on his guilt, she was also playing on his desire for answers. "The reason for their sacrifice", I think was how she put it.

I tried to play it off like Daryl asked MC what his hero name was, and he said "Nothing" and everyone mis-interpreted it.

I think it also works because the MC doesn't have a real "set" shape, they are everything (and nothing)

It also just sounds so unbearably edgy, which imo is appropriate for the setting. Everytime MC says something like "I am No-Thing" or "No-Thing will save you" I can just imagine 12 year old me pumping his fist as much as 28 year old me is cringing and I love it

Yeh, while I think Malik without the need to restrict himself for the sake of his allies would probably murk Ella(and even then, she's one of the best Superhumans around, resilience being one of her perks with that new ability of hers to stop her body from "changing"), since he just has that much of a wild output and according to WW even other abilities on the level of Sun birth, Aglaecwif is on a level of her own, iirc, WeirdWorld during his stream of the power tier list, struggled between putting her on the 'Perfect' category(in which the Trio is) or beneath, and even then, he seemed unsure, she's a Monster(huh)

Considering the fact that Ella was able to push back Nico who is considered the strongest lieutenant barring Henry, I think it's safe to say she is stronger than most if not all lieutenants, again barring henry, making her the sixth or seventh strongest superhuman on the planet. When you consider all of that, and malik still rapidly figures out the rules of her shifting trick, and nearly curb stomps her, I think it's safe to say any battle he fights against a potential peer will likely be all kinds of explosive.

Probably. We know there are other fossils that are important. If the MC takes the stone orb from Ella, he senses that it (and presumably the others she's been collecting) is a fossilized...something, he can't tell what. And Dexter and Xanthe have made reference to a fossil that they implied to be the most dangerous thing in H.E.R.O.'s possession. If these other monster fossils are going to be significant, I figure that the finger fossils will at least get explained along the way, even if they turn out to not matter much themselves.

I also hope that with the 1.0 remake, WW can add an inventory. Even if we can't interact with it, just seeing the items with a small description would be cool.

Be the change you want, if you aren't already, post about it on sites other than this one because even on this site, the game gets overlooked and a big part of that is due to the start which doesn't properly convey the quality that the story will offer.

I mean, Nico was overall on equal footing with Ella, even with her main gimmick(teleport others to the core of the Sun) restricted, and Nico's ability to just send off anything into space is the reason she's the most dangerous lieutenant beyond Henri, something that I think plays a role here, is that Superhumans, barring outliers, often win or lose depending on compatibility, Nico could probably win against Kira easily just by sending her to Space, but at the same time, Ella would have a hard time even injuring Kira.

About Malik, yeah, he's clever despite how explosive can get with his emotions, he's not just a nova with consciousness, I hope we get to see him fighting something as strong/stronger than himself before the ending, be it Indra/Glae, full power Valravn, the Qliphoth or an Apostle.

I wanted to as well, but since it's 18+, there's no way around it... I actually showed my brother the Twelve Apostles system, and he got really intrigued, said it reminded him of Lovecraft and stuff. But I kinda dodged the question when he asked where it was from... Sometimes I think about telling him, but we don’t really talk about our private lives, and he doesn’t share much with me either, so it just feels weird. I imagine that’s probably the same kind of vibe if big YouTubers ever made a video about it or something.
