Probably has something to do with how unique every evolution tends to be. MC is pretty close to Ella but only early on when he's focusing on the Body aspects of it. As soon as he starts exploring the Memory aspect of his power he starts growing quite a bit differently than her. Ella hints that she's probably the only Superhuman that MIGHT be compatible with him that way but it's probably less to do with either one of them individually and more to do with how similar their Body power is. Ella's unique control over the inner workings because of her own experiments on herself and perks of being the Third's Chosen probably makes it more likely that she could control it to some degree, but MC just doesn't have that capability on his end (yet).

Meanwhile Aglae can force it with the nature of her power, and I bet Eisheth could too if she were so inclined. Henri is also on the shortlist of beings that could probably do it if he wanted, but he DEFINITELY wouldn't want to. Truth/Fantasy/Chaos with enough power behind it can just get around the natural Order. I suspect Evolution can too but MC's not there yet.

I know some people don't like the idea of MC being tight with H.E.R.O(though i don't share that sentiment) but i hope WW really delves into that plot, Henri and MC as Captain and lieutenant would be interesting to read, their small time together climbing the Tower of Dreamworld showcase some proper chemistry between the two.

100% agree.
H.E.R.O may not be, well, "Hero", but they've proven to be at least directionally aligned with Humanity's interest.
We don't want Marvel Superhero's here who are "goody two shoes".
H.E.R.O having flawed characters makes it more interesting, and I'd like MC to be associated with H.E.R.O for a while.

But of course, eventually, MC's team is probably supposed to be the main "Hero" of the story, people like Alice, Amber/Liz, etc.
Cause, H.E.R.O did more or less Kidnapped MC and his team and forced them to serve, haven't forgotten how Nico kills MC by teleporting him to space if you reject H.E.R.O, or how she threatened to rape MC if he rejects her, kinda nasty stuff, but she's still a well written character of course.

If people dislike Ella for the early game sufferings she caused MC, then there's no reason to not dislike H.E.R.O either, at least to an extent.

I funny little thing i noticed in the deadend where mc gets eradicted by bernhardt:

before the fight starts he deactivates his barrier (when they are not on the planet anymore), so his barrier isnt really protecting him hm? Its seems like its protecting anything else (the planet) from him

I kinda got assimilated by Hero at this point myself, they are fucking anti-democratic and everything ... but well ... i kinda like even the assholes in hero like xanthe, dexter and so on at this point.

So, as an European (really, anyone outside of the US), could you explain if it's in Stone, Pounds, Ounces, Drain, Quarter or Drachm? Wikipédia says that Stone is generally used for weight, but that would mean 3175kg, and if he can do that, he can probably punch his way through most monsters

It seems very likely that next update is sin taking their best shot at hero hq since malik and bernie are out of the way. If met comes along for the ride we could see that one put to the test

Well I mean Henri's whole thing is that he holds back a lot all things considered, lord knows i cant be trusted with what is the equivalent of the reality stone, so he is a chill dude all things considered. None of the captains are really 0 corruption supposedly. Nyx should be above average on corruption and the important thing is whether to save Duncan(Nyx second in command) or not. Powah or power of friendship and yeah she is really hot. It also ties in as to whether doll ella does a thing or not potentially.

All the Captains are super corrupted though, i would go as far and say that even the nicest, Malik's probably above full corruption MC in numbers alone, he was M-Corp nuclear cannon after all. Still, they are clearly not super bad or anything like that, Nyx for one shown clear disdain at the idea of Zack being used, meaning that she does hold some level of appreciation for her fellow Captains. Going back to Henri, he's apparently super corrupted, probably as much if not more than Nyx, Lucius and Bernhardt, we should remember that he had his mind broken by evolving back and forth from 1 to 5, but yeah, as you said, he's very chill all things in consideration, more than that, I think he could be okay with MC regardless of his level of corruption.

Yeah, Henri's dangerous in the sense that his powers are wacky and since he evolved straight from level 1 to 5, he lacks the fine control that other Old Supers obtained from climbing the power ladder properly, Malik however?, while he's at core a good guy(probably) he's far too emotional, even Xanthe and Dexter know that, they explicitly mention how they need to be careful by how ruthless they get with Malik in consideration, a guy that powerful prone to rage fits is far too risky, even if not born from malice, mf is fire in the complete definition.

I assumed they want Aglaecwif to stand in for the Black Mouth in the ritual to resurrect Ella. Aglaecwif says something like "I had my own plans for that waif."
